yes same with me I run a phantom Intel escort with 2 epic rcs consoles and now I turn like a pig stuck in mud it's horrible, with 2 epic rcs consoles I should be turning on a dime
Same here on PS4. My T6 Valiant turns as slowly as a cruiser. It's taking all the fun out of having a ship like that, since your turn rate is vital for getting cannons on target. Needs an immediate fix.
Having same issue on PS4. I am assuming this is tied to the "fix" with the pitch control. Now my ship doesn't want to turn easily like it used to. Please fix ASAP.
I play with a tactical escort that depends on a tight and responsive turn rate to get targets into the cannon firing arc quickly. Can't play like this.

While I appreciate your response, I do hope the matter is being taken seriously and not considered low priority. This is game breaking for many of us using escorts, and it's especially bitter for those of us who paid real money for our ships, enough money that would've bought a full game otherwise.
on my jhuael same bug.. i tried in game everything i could, deleted my 3000zen ships claimed new.. changed every gear, i did all but turn rate stays bugged.. than i head an idea, got 900 lobi go buy jemhaddar escort.. maybe that ship will work.. so go to drozana lobi shop and surprise the ship in store is no longer the escort its the dreadnought big tanky one.. my luck did read every single word on the ship box, if buyed it and no escort, 900 lob gone ... i would kill my x box + tv +++ everything in the room...

I'm sure they give problems like this an appropriately high priority, as it is a playability issue. Not being able to fully or properly control your interaction with the experience (i.e. your ship) is a big problem for any game, and I am sure they recognize that. I would expect these movement problems to be fixed in the next patch - and if I allow myself to get my hopes up, it'll be a super small patch that they'll release quickly that only fixes the couple of bugs that were (probably) introduced as a result of the improved flight controls (and they are better, just bugged atm). Perhaps MS doesn't charge tens of thousands of dollars for hotfixes?
It would be nice if they could tell us when this will be patched. I got two toons, both 60, both cannon boats and i cant play either which means i cant play the game unless hi completely regear their ships for beams....which i dont want to do.
after 24h still not fixed... u gotta be kidding.. maybe no bug and cryptic will force us this way to buy new ship.. we cant play, the way it is right now... u dont need 24h to fix.. time to get serious
I sent an email/ticket last night. It's awesome when they respond, but I'm hopeful that no response today means that they're actively working on a fix. (For PS4, that is)

Dude. They did. This thread contains a dev response. If you're going to complain, at least make sure that the problem you're complaining about actually exists.
If I bought anything else, I would expect it to be working properly when I received it, and if it wasn't I'd expect an immediate replacement (hotfix) or a full refund. It's completely inexcusable that we're not even being given so much as an ETA for the fix. At the very least a public apology and acknowledgement of the problem should be issued. Can you imagine if any other MMO released a patch which caused a specific class to not control properly? It would be dealt with immediately.
Perhaps the serious nature of this just isn't getting through to the devs, since we can still control our ships to a much lesser extent. To put it into perspective, if you make it so an escort can only turn at the same rate as a carrier, you effectively make it so the class cannot perform its role. Escorts are the glass cannons in this game, trading off low survivability for the highest damage output and the best maneuverability options. With the way things are now, it is incredibly difficult for us to fulfill our role as damage dealers, making it so we're still glass with no cannon. Might as well just paint a giant target on our ships since we're free kills as we are.
cant believe they didnt fix it.. haha i BELIEVE they want to force us this way to buy a .... cruiser 3k zen.. this not a new game they know theyre moneymaker... what else do u want ma house ma car???
Yeah, I believe they have to get patches approved from Microsoft first. We where lucky on the "can't beam into ESD" bug, I am guessing they already had that huge patch they dropped Thursday approved and just shoe-horned the ESD fix in.
But as of right now, on my low level tac officer, the Ambassador Support Cruiser has a better tun rate then the tactical escort with 2 RCS consoles lol
I just hope they fix it soon - and i did notice the impulse engines turn rate fluxing. Jem hadar engines at 36 turn rate in sol. Still no difference in rate

there really low. mine should be around 32 turn rate. but it's only 1. it seems they are all broken. the turn rate on them are anyway.
