I already posted that line of entropic redestribution 3 ... it was against a player who played a tank command cruiser as engineering captain.. He used all those stuff like aux2sif and so on.. he used everything to make himself as tanky as possible..
I tested it out on him.. first i wasnt able to kill him on my tac escort (only with ramming speed ^^) and then i wondered if i can kill him with my epg science and yea i killed him pretty fast that way.. So i had the direct comparison..

All pvpers who are still playing just want a bit balancing to make nice premade matches a thing again without that onehit mechanics, nonstop disables and never ending powercreep.. I see so often people trying pvp.. i see so often people who are asking for help because they wanna play pvp.. but all i can do is currently giving them a list of ships which they need cause pay2win.. but thats out of topic .. I just want to point out that especially the temp ops abilities are way too strong and make pvp unplayable for now.. Ofc people talk it dead because its nearly impossible to bring new players into it

Because it's ridiculous maybe?
All the stuff that allows players to cheat death should be removed or at least a hard cap should be applied so that you can never be immune for more than a second or two. Full immunity or other ways that automatically prevent death is one of the reasons why power creep has gotten out of hand: because no one needs to worry about survival anymore when they're spamming their FAW in all directions.

The vast majority does not care about PvP. Sad? Maybe, but it's the truth nonetheless.
This is a PvE-game and in 90% of its content, the goal is to destroy things. So each career should be able to do that. If that means PvP is suffering, then so be it, it's not relevant for the majority of the content and players.
It has enormous pvp potential and srsly dude.. for now immunities is the only way to protect yourself of that entropic stuff.. If you go on epg builds with entropy as a tac you can oneshot nearly every player with at least 100k+ crits phys dmg straight on hull while faw is tankable.. I like exotic dmg and i like the "science" style.. but i shouldnt get out of hand like it does now
And the majority of players? The powercreep is the reason why there are not that many pvpers left.. balance it and they come back and new ones appear..
split up the abilities into PvE and PvP. Temporal abilities in PvE have the same debuffs like now. Temporal abilities in PvP should get a big nerf. Everyone is happy. Kinetic resistance = physical resistance. That would be better.
The debuff and the demage of the temporal abilities are to strong for PvP. Without Zahl-Trait or other immunities the pvp will be a one-hit event. With Zahl i have 8 seconds more to prepare myself for respawn button.
I agree with sovalucard.. there are a lot of people who wanna learn and play pvp.. fleet and even armada pvp events but stuff like entropy destroys the fun to play it.. There is more pvp going on as u think

Idc if u agree or not.. but speaking for everyone isnt fair at this point.
I never said I spoke for everyone, I said that PvP is only relevant to a minority and that, content-wise, this is mostly a PvE game. Which is why, then, I said that the fact that something is needed in PvP apparently, should not be an excuse to keep these abilities as they currently are in PvE cause it distorts the game too much.
@sovalucard 's solution should be able to fix this though, and it seems we are agreed on that so let's just leave it at that then

How many people play star trek online on PS4 and XBox at that moment? Zero right? Why Cryptic and PW want to release star trek online on konsols? Because they want that more people can play this game.
When cryptic/PW would fix this belance problems. More people would play PvP. The PvP comunity would be bigger.
whether konsole or PvP. Cryptic should make a game for all Fans and comunity parts. Not just for one (PvE on PC).
There is an interview with him at the fedcon .. he said the next big thing after console release will be the improvement of pvp gameplay
"Big thing"? I can certainly see more communication with the PvP community being a possibility. Maybe even some QoL improvements to PvP.
The problem with significant developments to PvP is monetizing it. PvP was never terribly popular, even when the game first launched. Today, any large PvP development would be a risk; one they would very likely not make their investment back.
The amount of people that it would draw is unknown. So, how much money it would make is also unknown.
PvP has never been popular with the majority. Implementing new systems, ships, gear, etc just for PvP is a huge risk. Cryptic can't just break even; they need to profit from PvP. So, whatever they implement would have to be somewhat small. At least until there was a large enough group of paying players to justify more content.

Yeah I think I heard something like that too. It's probably one of the most popular suggestions, I am for it, but I guess it would take too much effort for their small team. For PVP balance to work, someone will have to be working on that alone full-time. I don't know if they have the resources for that.

It's comments like these that really give a negative stigma to PVP'ers. Because the changes you want will affect 90% of the game/players (PVE), then we do have the right to comment.
Interesting interview. He didn't really give a promise that they are working on PVP. He simply said that they are "talking about it" and they will potentially have something next year. Hopefully that holds true for your sake.
