If you are talking about your ship warping back into battle after respawning, I think that might be intended, though I'm not entirely sure; I don't remember reading a patch note about it. The problem is that the animation has been applied to situations where it doesn't make sense. For example, when you activate the holoemitter in "Night of the Comet", your ship vanishes and then warps in again as a D7; previously, a disguise would simply appear around your ship.
Have the same issue, during battle my ship just vanishes and immediatly warps back in. full hul and most of shields intact so nothing to do with respawn. at least for me
I had the same thing happen to me several times in various STFs and thought it might have been an ability from a Specialization Tree. However, the same thing happen on my AOY toon while doing a Shadow Play from the Roluman arc.
Nope this is not a respawn related thing..Its an annoying bug and it ruins a space battle..In the middle of a space battle you will randomly disappear then warp back in with all abilities on a cool down including the beams and torps. So much so if playing on elite against a battlecruiser your pretty much f'ed badly and then have to respawn..Noticed it on my AoY toon till now cause trying to complete all the unlocks..
I have noticed it happend to my AoY character, not related to the specialization. Now I have noticed also on my Romulan character accuring also.
It is not healing, it just ports me away and back.
Are the iconians back with their schemes and secret wepaons?

Yeah, now it's happening on all my characters and far more frequently. I just did a Borg Red Alert where I 'warped' out and back in at least 3 times.
This is frikkn annoying. Hopefully, someone on Reddit posts it so that a Dev will actually see it.

I have almost twice as many posts on the forums as I do on Reddit. Can someone explain to me why the theory that developers do not read the forums just because we do not comment on everything we read comes from?

You're the first Cryptic Employee I have seen post here since Trendy, and I don't even remember how long ago that was.
Perhaps I'm just not reading the threads you post in, clearly though your reply proves I'm wrong and you do read this. Please accept my apologies, I just haven't seen your posts.
Thank you for your time and effort, believe it or not, it really is appreciated.

It's probably because since AoY went live, dev comments have slowed way down, so people forget about all the past communication and only look at the past few days and decide that you guys are ignoring them.

If you are, in fact, reading for bugs, I am readily confused. There are missing DOff assignments, missing audio, missing/misplaced NPC emotes, dozens of clipping issues, and ongoing server issues, yet all I see are unfathomably overpriced bind-on-pickup uniforms, and a yet another fluffled up rep system.

btw, not a knock on you, just the suits. Messengers are usually just relaying the nonsense from their boss.
I posted what I believed to be true, that they don't read this forum. Spartan posted to tell me that wasn't correct, and even though I was wrong, I appreciated the reply.
If we all now pile on with complaints and yell that it isn't enough, you really think he'll post again? Lets consider how we treat the Devs when they do post ok? Personally, I would like to see them post more, but hard to blame them for being quiet if posting just gets them attacked.

For clarification's sake:
I am on the QA team. This means, fundamentally speaking, I do not and cannot fix things directly. All that I can do is point and say "that's broken", and rarely point and yell that things are on fire. The other teams at Cryptic then fix things as they have time available to do so within their department. As one example, Borticus fixes many things, but he is not going to address costume clipping because it is completely unrelated to the job he does.
Additionally, general concerns about Holodeck performance are difficult for me to address personally. Server performance issues are usually not a case that is simple enough to point out "take these simple steps on a server with nothing else going on and watch your server performance die". Happily, a report from this forum enabled me to track down a specific simple case, which pointed out a new angle to investigate performance issues, which ended up resulting in the gameserver performance fixes that went live in this patch, but that is abnormal for performance issues.
Similarly, connection issues are not usually within my realm to deal with. Simply put, the same way that the character artists are not going to fix Fire at Will, the development team making the game, which is who I generally interact with, is not the group of people responsible for the state of the Live server. I do raise issues to that group of people, but it generally falls outside of what I deal with.

I think it comes from some of the major threads haveing zero dev comments. For example the new graphic's upgrade thread which is full of players given feedback and pointing out how the new graphics make the game look far, far worse and that the before upgrade screenshots look better then the after screenshots. Zero dev feedback. The whole mess and upset player base over the T6 Golden ship, no dev feedback.
All the complaints about film grain causing headaches and killing FPS no feedback. Then we have many feedback threads posted by devs asking for feedback. Players post a bug about a new feature then the post appears to be ignored and the bug makes it way onto the live server. It gives the impression the devs are not reading many posts. I feel like giving up testing on tribble and posting in the feedback threads as most of the time the feedback and bug reporting has been ignored. Just about every bug I reported made its way onto the live server.

+1 to this the game is riddled with so many bugs I dont know where to start..Like now I had an issue with my keyboard..Outside the game its perfectly fine in game it gets screwed up!! Who do I contact about these types of bugs??

Aye. The fact that these threads exist, and the problems persist, is why I have so little faith in the QA team. If "All that I can do is point and say "that's broken", and rarely point and yell that things are on fire." is a sincere statement, and I believe it is, then it is a wonder that the support section exists. Then again, only can only point so much, with only two arms.

As an additional note:
The patch that introduced the new reputation also contained a significant number of fixes, and this week's patch that introduced those costumes also fixed some pressing recent issues and some old ones as well, and there are a significant number of fixes currently making their way through the QA process before going live.
I hope this explains some things.
I can safely say this is being looked into.
Thank you very much.
