games keeps crashing on launch - can't login

when i launch the game it keeps patching every time, when it's finished the launch window opens ands almost immediately crashes. Can't get into the game. I've got the latest driver update for my graphics card and for java. Don't know what to do. Anybody have tips for me?? I've submitted a ticket but since it's a long weekend with 4th of july i'm kinda stuck for a while... please help!
I don't get any error messages so i don't know where to look for a fix.

    Try this:

    Click the Options button at the top of the STO Launcher
    Find and check Force Verify
    Click Save
    Wait for it to check all the files

    i am having the same issue too after this New agent of yesterday patch. the funny side to this i can log into Tribble but not Holodeck.

    I am having the same issue as well, but with the added bonus of after the first crash the launcher will not get past the patching part. I have restarted my computer several times and I have verified the files 3 times now, but it hasn't helped. Everything is up to date on my pc. I am at a lost here, and redownloading the game is not an option for me as I have limited data a month. I cannot download 23gigs of data and then expect to be able to play, I have a total of 50gigs a month and I have already used half of that because my husband downloaded a game a couple of days ago, I would have to wait a month to download the game again. If it helps I don't use arc, I launch the game directly from the launcher and bypass arc altogether. I hate that stupid program. I am running windows 7 ultimate 64 bit, amd 8 core processor, 16 gigs of ddr3 ram, sabertooth 990fx r2 motherboard, and a GeForce gtx 650 graphics card. Prior to the agents of yesterday I wasn't having any issues logging on.

    Mines a little different it will let me login but as soon as I go to chose a captain it will say loading then stall then I will get a message "Unable to connect to login server" then I will be put back to the login screen this only started happening for me last night and since then its been nothing but a nightmare to log in.

    Mine crashes before it even loads the game, it crashes about 10 seconds into the cryptic loading screen.

    ok so here's an update: i deleted the piggs folder files in the live folder of the game (i made a backup copy of the files just to be on the safe side). This forced a new patch when i launched the game (about 14 Gb) and then i could login to the game normally
    So i can play again, but i still have other issues:
    - some missions crash the game, so far 'cold storage' and the first mission in the klingon war story arc (i think it's 'diplomatic order'), the crash log states it doesnt have the proper file for a map in the mission. repatching or force verify doesnt solve this issue
    - i have regular stalls of loading screens now on all toons, specifically when loading into sol or the starfleet academy map
    - my new tos toon has a new boff that doesnt show its name properly

    looks like the new expansion is messing up stuff (as usual)

    game was fine for the first few days now 09 July and today the 10 July game stops loading during every map transition loading screen, I tired to wait to see if it would eventually load, it wont, just error not responding and needs to close, this happens every time I switch maps/load new area. force verify of files did not fix, deleting file in localdata did not fix. any other suggestion's?

    game is unplayable again. guess its going to happen if they keep putting in new stuff while the walls are crumbling around them. did they have any issues like this during beta testing? if not why not? why all of a sudden is it doing this after it worked fine the first few days?
