For next year's summer event, can we get a variation of the wetsuit where the secondary color glows like the clubwear? Clubwear looks amazing in night powerboard races, but a wetsuit with that same glow would make more sense
As a counter to female Players having Orion-style sandals on Risa, i think males should have flip-flops next year, or would it be easier to make the sandals be for both genders?
It occurs to me that if you're going to have Kelvin!Starfleet's duty uniforms about, there's no excuse to not have their dress uniforms too (seen at the end of Into Darkness, at the rechristening, as I recall). Not sure if there's a distinctive duty uniform for Kelvin!S31, but toss that in if it exists, along with this Khan's outfit (complete with longcoat).
I know I will hear some flak about this, but can the Thrall boots, gloves, and collar please be unlocked for other uses? I have a character who would love to have her crew all with pain collars on.

Reading my mind. I'm totally going to agree on this one. Some of the more brief choices of costuming, mostly female but not always, are non-nonsensical in the way they're allowed in various costume categories.
1) The thrall, retro 'swimwear', or the Shahna outfit, as we Trekkers familiar with its origins may call it, does fit nicely in the swimwear category, but in the episode it was never 'swimwear'. Yes, right now the top is available in off-duty, but only the top. The collar, boots and gloves should be off-duty as well, if not uniform options. And the bottoms. Silver underwear should always be an option in retro space opera...Flash Gordon and Rocky Horror agree on this. This is further compounded by the fact that every set of swimwear I own has at least the top available as 'off duty'. Point is, the distinction between the set categories is muddled and needs some fixing.
On top of that, so far the retro suit is just limited gray scale...from bright silver to shiny black. I'd like to see the color pallet opened up for it a bit. If not primary colors as well, at least the option to use gold, bronze and copper hues.
2) The Terran shorts are also non-nonsensical in their usability. They are a 'uniform' piece, yet can be used as 'beachwear'. Why are they not off-duty as well? They absolutely should be.
Side note on the Terran shorts- I would love to see the metallic texture on the retro swimwear as an option for the Terran shorts. The thrall suit is a great piece of retro wear, and so would the shorts be with this option. If my away teams could beam down in silver and gold shiny shorts, I promise you they definitely would.
3) Pieces of costuming that are often restricted to 'uniforms' but are not really clothing articles at all are often overlooked in these costume debates. I am talking about the chest, back, wrist attachments, upper arms, waist and hips attachment items that are electronics or equipment...class-related kit items. I use these often on my captains and my BOFFS, because many have lighting textures on them, and I like that sort of thing to really customize a character model.
I would like to see these opened up for universal use- any costume type, and here's a case where we know it can be done. Why? Because right now, many of us are farming Risa still. Look around you...there are NPC vacationers even in swimwear sporting some of these electronics pieces.

Would be great if we got a different footstep noise with them, that flipfloppy smack when it hits the heel.
Nothing breaks the tension better than a tankard of warnog - except maybe a good brawl...
I would like to see Romulan uniforms from the TAS, because they have better patterns and are WAY more practical in design.

Agreed. The various uniforms are nice and all, but it's nice to add a practical touch to them.
Now, as long as we're here, I'm going to toss in a couple more: Adm. Garrett's uniform seen in 'Terminal Expanse'; and the Vengeance hull material (an item that can only be placed in the shield-visual slot).
Is there any chance of getting Ensign Mears's tricorder unlocked as a costume option for players? I realize we'll suddenly have two tricorders when we do any of the options that use it, but...I really don't care, it's no weirder than materializing one from nowhere
It might sound weird, but I'd like to see the Orion Male 'Cowboy' Boots unlocked for all factions and Formal. I have reasoning, it just sounds weird - since we have a bolo-tie option for a male's formal tie, we might as well have the 'Cowboy' boots and get the full Texas oil millionaire look...
For that matter, I wouldn't mind seeing the 'male' formal suit unlocked for females who don't want to wear the prom dress... (Which will probably happen about the same time that skirts get unlocked for males so that players can get their Scotty on and wear kilts with their dress uniforms...)

Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though. JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

Take your sanctimonious attitude elsewhere. Part of Starfleet's function is military. DEAL WITH IT. DS9 and Enterprise clearly showed uniformed ground troops. DEAL WITH IT.

Hopefully they get that sorted out and bring it back
And hopefully we can get eyeshadow that differs from the lip color. Makes no sense to have one value for all.
OMG yes this! My redheaded Bajoran wants to wear redish lipstick and green eyeshadow so bad!

Oh... and mankinis so we can ogle the men-folk. XD
Well, Klingons can have exotic dancing, so I don't see why the Feds can't go drag racing.

What I'd like to see is swimwear with patterns similar to those available for the aloha shirts' bikini top next year.
Aye, at least someone's not fawning over what to wear at the beach. Nice account pic, btw.

Good point. I see no need for gender restricted accessories for costumes.
Not that you really need canon to back up a request like this.
The Specialists need all the accessories!
