Looks like the dev team is hauling all the old geezers from the retirement home. Soon we'll be saying "O my"
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
You do realize that if it weren't for the "Old Geezers" there wouldn't be a Star Trek game to play, right?
It's not a matter of Liking or Not Liking TOS.
It's a matter of RESPECT for the fact that it existed at all.

If they use him at 2 different ages, is that a hint that the TOS story line will actually stretch several years and the TOS Captains rise in ranks will not be quite as meteroic as the regular FED/KDF/RR rise?
Or is it just to the time travelling itself?
Star Trek Online Advancement: You start with lowbie gear, you end with Lobi gear.

I am guessing it is more Wibbly Wobbly Timey Whimey stuff. Seems they are eager to have both TOS and Movie versions, which suggest to me that we are visiting both timelines.

This. You guys who don't like TOS...fine. Let us who grew up with it enjoy it. Some forget if it was not for those TOS die- hards who petitioned for a third season, or who founded the first cons and poured all their energy into Trek there would still be only one Trek and only one Enterprise.....no bloody A, B, C, D, or E.

My best guess is that the TOS Captains will play mostly/entirely in 2270 until merging with the regular all-faction storyline. But that the 23rd century story missions that all characters can play will be set mostly/entirely post-opening of ST—Generations.

Could not of put it any better. This expansion thus far is surpassing itself already in graphic design. It surely is living up to showing RESPECT tp the ones we have lost along the way. I feel this expansion is a honor to the greats. Leonard Nimoy, Deforest Kelly, James Doohan, Majel Barret, and to Gene Roddenberry. Star Trek Online you are doing him proud.
In Arc, that little Explore dropdown now goes to PC before giving the actual categories related to the game. The only other game in my Arc Library that does that is Neverwinter, because you have to choose between PC and XBOX. Spoilers?
Also in Arc, the Explore->PC dropdown doesn't have a News page within Arc. While the saying is that "No news is good news," I'm still keeping an eye out for more details about AoY.
Otherwise, loving the return of some classic TOS characters for this. I'm looking forward to seeing how this all plays out, both in game and in what we actually get as far as gameplay.
With each passing day I wonder if I stepped into an alternate reality. The Cubs win the world series. Donald Trump is President. Britain leaves the EU. STO gets a dedicated PvP season. Engineers are "out of control" in STO.

Clearly, the art folks hold these characters dearly in their hearts.
Nonsense. Bring on the Nuklear Wessels. XD
Nice.

If they are going to do it, now is the time. Not too many left and those who are won't be around much longer.

^This. Cause, why not? Be great if he was a BOff...be kinda like fighting alongside Chuck Norris.
I call foul. He was an engineer. Surviving the whole episode only counts if you are a security ensign. >_<
A couple other things for @pwelaughingtrendy...
