With each passing day I wonder if I stepped into an alternate reality. The Cubs win the world series. Donald Trump is President. Britain leaves the EU. STO gets a dedicated PvP season. Engineers are "out of control" in STO.
I like the look of that pack, if it contained a couple of active ship slots and 5 dry dock slots too so I could actually use the ships I'd probably be convinced to buy it.
Oh and the bit where if you have Windows 10 you don't meet the listed system requirements

so its just a shameless money grab, no new content nothing really more then the usual go figure
Just wait until they announce it in a couple of hours. It is likely a pack like this comes with a new expansion or at least some kind of event. Don't be all complainy before anything happens.

I sure hope your right targ , i really do hope your right
so apparently certain people here already forgot that the delta rising operations pack could be pre-ordered months before delta rising itself came out...just because there hasn't been any content announcement yet doesn't mean there won't be any
A normie goes "Oh, what's this?"
An otaku goes "UwU, what's this?"
A furry goes "OwO, what's this?"
A werewolf goes "Awoo, what's this?"
"It's nothing personal, I just don't feel like I've gotten to know a person until I've sniffed their crotch." "We said 'no' to Mr. Curiosity. We're not home. Curiosity is not welcome, it is not to be invited in. Curiosity...is bad. It gets you in trouble, it gets you killed, and more importantly...it makes you poor!"
Passion and Serenity are one.
I gain power by understanding both.
In the chaos of their battle, I bring order.
I am a shadow, darkness born from light.
The Force is united within me.
Did you try the PVP, it was just guys who did nothing but PVP surrounded by floating bits of everyone else. I don't miss the public PVP I had far more fun on fleet map PVP fighting normal people I actually knew who weren't taking the annihilation of everything that moves as seriously.

Actually we know a bit more than that. The pack includes manuals for training Bridge officers in Temporal Operative Specialization. This says a lot about what the ships are.

True, they are specialist ships. But, specialist ships for all tiers, appearantly. And that's quite the change that probably comes with other stuff.

I miss it. When the annihilation of everything that moves is the only content you get, you tend to take it rather seriously. From the lack of any other faction development in the announcement and packs it appears they're intent on bringing that Original 18% nostalgia back minus the PVP. We don't get that anymore either.

Every time this type of event comes up you guys say it's to "rebuild the quadrant". I have yet to see anything rebuilt.
Considering the war only happened in Cryptic's blog, I've yet to see anything that needed rebuilding.

Rebuilding what? There were no Iconians striking wherever whenever (Iconian red alerts), no siege over a system or world that T'ket took (battlezone) and no evidence of any sort of war except in the storyline, and the blogs.
With T'ket and her horde still running around loose like a pack of wild targs, there is still time to undo this mistake by adding the two mentioned above even after the Iconian war is over.
Yes there are extra marks. I believe I got 112 instead of 75 marks for fleet report turnin - so around 66% more.
Captain Jean-Luc Picard: "We think we've come so far. Torture of heretics, burning of witches, it's all ancient history. Then - before you can blink an eye - suddenly it threatens to start all over again."
"With the first link, the chain is forged. The first speech censured, the first thought forbidden, the first freedom denied, chains us all irrevocably."

Fanwank coming in:
By the time you got the subspace message for a "Red Alert", the fight was already over.
We only got to attend the few fights were we could actually intervene in some manner - often actually the few ones were we got to take the initiative.
