We’re pleased to announce the arrival of our latest unlockable species: the Horta! Too long has their rocky past kept the Horta at the foot of the galactic table!

    I would totally dig having a staff of Horta BOffs. Tactical would be an acidic Horta that could melt any foe, Engineering would be a dilithium Horta that could create it's own warp field, and Science would be an unobtanium Horta that could solve every problem of the week in less than 40 minutes.

    Was expecting this.

    Was blessed with a preview. It's awesome how you folks managed to get weapons working with this new species.
    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    Finally something that can compete with Caitans in ground combat PvP. This will reinvorgate Star Trek Online like no addition ever.

    Whoever did this should be stoned to death. or perhaps was just stoned to begin with. Throwing so many puns in there really made it kinda rocky there for a while but I guess in the end the post was a gem.

    Wow I cant wait to see this advance to a Borg Horta. Funny this is april fools joke. Cause if not have to ask how in the world would it sit on the captains chair would it not melt. :open_mouth:

    I plan to create my first Horta capatin after work, but I'm unsure about using a playable race with a motto of "NO KILL!" -- it seems like in STO most of my time is spent wading through the rivers of blood that I spill.

    But much thanks, looking forward to exploring new worlds from the inside! Horta-riffic!

    I seem to vaguely remember hearing about playable Cardassians in some form. (And/or the Horta hoax, which fooled the person talking about it... :lol:)

    Nice was always a bit jealous when i beam my horta down that graceful sliding everyhere, now i get to slide around too and belly flop everything into submission, thanks for this. HORTA POWER ACTIVATE.

    The Horta with the tricorder made this one, though the one sliding out of the captain's chair is pretty good too.
