Ok, dont get it, i mean, if someone play terribly, i just complete the mission by myself, or help the one who has trouble finishing their objectives.. because, well, you have to finish the mission... and if there is a lot of mistakes, ok, bad luck.. i change char and play another one.. no need to call them names, sometimes is frustrating, yes... but its a game, after all..

And they haven't been hostile/snide etc in return? Maybe our definitions of hostile differ, but in my personal opinion I've been more entertaining than hostile. If you go check the air of hostility in other, bigger games, you'll see what is really hostile.
I don't know if I would say you've been hostile. You have been insulting, dismissive, unwilling to listen to the factual comments of others. On top of that, you have not been the slightest bit entertaining.
Maybe not for you entertaining, but for others (myself included) certainly. Now the point is not to appeal to other players, but to send out a little message in hope PWE will somewhat change their policies. If they won't do it, then tough luck - move on.
As long as people keep feeding this thread, the message gets out more than you think.

Imagine how I feel after calling out someone's bad behaviour and then my comments being put on moderation. It was only one post as well. And to add salt to injury they allow this "dude" to continue to act like a goose with him capitalizing every single word (to win his argument) Few days later he writes a song for a joke and indirectly refers to me by saying his wants are not "demands" and people should turn on their humour mode before responding back at him.
Not to mention he has managed get my gender wrong, repeatedly and attacked my posts for asking for too much on a frequent basis.

I think it depends on what kin of report you send. Clicking a player and selecting "report spam" does nothing but put the user on your ignore list. "File a GM ticket" does actually send a ticket but you probably won't get an answer as it's a one-way thing. Sending a CS-email gets a reaction within 24 hours of a business day, sometimes just a canned one, though.

You have to pay for those ones. But I never experienced any problems there. I think >_< nothing to warrant a ban at least. But the BioWare Dragonage [EAWare] forums I was banned for telling off a guy that called me a overly sensitive C word. Some obese American mod, forgot his name. That was about differing opinions of how ugly the models for the elves looked.
I expect nothing else from STO community. But to warrant a ban? That too would be excessive, it's like giving Marcellus' new wife a foot massage, and being thrown out the window for it (you'll understand what I mean if you've seen the movie). I'm not sure boring and lame is enough to accurately portrait how insipid his posts are. I mean you'd have to go up a couple of notches to be boring and lame since boring and lame indicates that there CAN be of some value there. Everything he has spewed out so far is utterly useless. But then again, what did you expect from a noob. I mean he failed to counter my last post so by default he has accepted that he is that Fing noob in the OP after all.

So I called someone "ffing noob" yesterday, and like a big crybaby that person reported me. Now since I've been playing practically since beta I never received a warning email from PWE, because let's be frank, everyone is cursing in online games all the time. STO is furthermore filled with trolls, exploiters, glitchers, and even hackers and other more malicious people of the worst kind that roam freely and unchecked, and of whom some of them I actually know the handle names. I could report them any day, but I'm not that kind of person. Let Cryptic see for themselves and handle it i'd say.
I understand my language was a violation, and I don't condone profanity myself actually, but this has to be the violation of practically half the population in the game (or any game). And also take a moment to realize *why* I said what I said; when someone is being pushed there is expected to be a reaction. This is how reality works. The matter was in my opinion improperly investigated.
I hope I have raised awareness as to why I received an warning email for the first time 5-6 years to something completely trivial. Censorship based on feelings and the random whims of every lowest common denominator, rather on solid facts is not the way it should be. It's highly abusive.
i can not write on behalf of the warning aspect, thats not my problem. however as a rule i typically do not throw "childish insults" out and when i do insult it has a constructive point to it or i am more smart about how i write the insult or sometimes i take the cake as it were by being a little smart mouth about it.
since i have had warnings in the past, most recent was vulgar language, something sexually inappropriate, i excepted these because i am a guest here like you, this is PWE/Cryptic's forum and it is their house and their rules.
