    I used to hate when y'all schedule your down time, because it would always be right in the middle of my peak creative moments, while on Foundry...

    Now, I love it, because I'm at work, and I never have to experience it.

    I thought it was 6:30 PST on 3/8, not 8:55 on 3/7. I suppose that little prick DDOS'er is at it again?

    Ugh...for Christ's sake, I was in the middle of "Takedown" and it was going better than ever before. Sigh...well, guess it's time to go out for a pint.

    No one seems to have any idea yet. Some have suggested the return of the DDOS kid, but usually when he's at it he's on Twitter bragging about it. Right now, he's being quiet. Could just be a server problem.

    Apparently, 'temporary downtime' is right now. Just a few minutes before Midnight EST, my game froze in mission and I was DC'ed. Cannot get STO to come back up. Tried Champions...updater timed out with it as well. It's on you guys...I fired up an unrelated game, surprise, no problems with that.

    Sorry Arc...you suck. :/

    March 7, 9pm PST
    Went to launch the game so I could see about doing the Breach for the daily. After trying to connect 5 times I get an error saying "Unable to establish connection to patch server. Please check your internet connection. If problems persist, please contact technical support". If it was my internet connection I wouldn't be able to even post on the forums.

    Oh well. I haven't missed a day yet on the event so I guess I can skip it for today and still have time to get the admirality ship (if the servers can stay up LOL).

    Speaking of technical support, here is some Weird Al to pass the time
    I'm down with Bill Gates, I call him "Money" for short
    I phone him up at home and I make him do my tech support

    Looks like temporary downtime is both beginning prematurely and longer lasting. Otherwise there's problems with getting back in the game.

    Strangely, google and yahoo were down at the same time, so it may have been something much more widespread than just STO.

    Normally when maintenance is about to start you get an ingame message telling you as much- didn't get anything this time.
