winter event, wishes

in Star Trek Online General Discussion
here is a list of thing that could be changed or added:

- new clothes, not the old clothes reskinned again
- the rotunda/kiosk or whatever the name of the central building should have a wooden floor (like the old floor). the frozen floor was a little bit too frozen, not very warmhearted

or a snowman building contest. well! something in the spirit of christmas and also because we don't have anymore snow, where I live :p

    I'm afraid it's far too late for those wishes. But if you have a list for the next Summer Event they might consider your suggestions.

    I wished i could slot up and earn one of the old breen ships....but they already stabbed that wish with a bath'let and disintegrated it afterwards :P​​

    I just want the gray soiled snowballs to be white again this year. They were gray post tide of ice fix.

    Maybe some more recipes would be nice. And for the event to last a really long time. It's me favorite.

    More things to shoot. The Snow STF is fun but gets old fast. Tides of Ice is epic, but only once an hour.

    Anyway, I definitely agree with the wooden building. This is Star Trek Online, not Frozen Online. There was no need to jump on that hype train.

    Also as said, all these suggesstions are great, and they might be implemented next year. For this year? Waaay to late.

    I'd like them to fix it so that KDF can wear scarves with off duty outfits again.

    I reported it just after the winter event last year started. A dev acknowledged the report and it hasn't been fixed yet. That's almost a year of waiting. :rage:

    My only wishes would be we get access to the old Sarr Theln model...and that if they make a new skin for the Rezreth that we still have access to the old one.

    1.Snowball Fight! Underground respawn or invisible snowman most annoying. Can you make it like Kerrat so we can ALL fight each other with snow weapons?

    Anyone else noticed that one of the dreadnoughts in the badlands battlezone is a Wells class on something illegal? Its easily the size of an odyssey.

    I heard rumors of a breen dreadnought, which doesn't make sense as they said that they're retiring the entire breen line up. So a temporal dreadnought as the winter ship would be nice, faction specific skins exist already, tweak them for size, alter the slot, console and Boff layout....

    Well, I'll tell you guys now, the gazebo hasn't changed. It's still icy, like last year.
    I was too busy working on [REDACTED] to update anything in that area.

    I did my best to make the piles of snowballs white again. They're mostly dark due to a setting the skyfile, I may still try to tweak that.

    I've never met Jeri Ryan, but I have had dinner with Chase Masterson a couple of times, and she's a lovely person, and a delight to talk with.

    Actually, that's a great idea tbh. I'd also like to see proper Christmas Decorations, Trees and lights for our Starbases and in the Wonderland itself!!

    All I want is the ability to wear swimwear. I don't care about the winter setting, it'd just be nice to have a second place to wear it. Q can keep us warm.

    It could be a redesign of the old ESD into a Romulan Fleet Starbase ;)​​

    I'd like a reward that we could use on our favourite ships or ground build, instead of a ship that I'll use for five-minutes.

    I still will never understand why when the Winter Event reward is a ship...why there isn't a Winter space event!

    Ok... I MAY have a minor touch of OCD when it comes to costumes in STO. The level of costomization is AWESOME in this game. I'm kinda hoping for an actual blue jacket instead of just the frosty one.

    again, the old jacket with a new texture? you don't want something new? most of the time, the reskinned models are not very good (the jackets, rep weapons -except the disruptor weapons from the terran rep- etc)

    oh! btw could we have the scarf romulan patched? this scarf is only available for Satra, it would be cool to have this scarf for all the roms.

    Well, ain't nothing wrong with the winter jacket design except for I don't like all colors for me. Although variation here wouldn't hurt, I wouldn't need it. Some minor things that would have been nice but are improbable after reading taco's posting were the possible annoyances (queue organization on the racing daily, jumping being OP on the PvP race, which wouldn't be bad if it wasn't completely destroying the athmosphere).

    Well, ain't nothing wrong with the winter jacket design

    the collar is ugly, and there is a problem with the shoulders :)

    new things are always more interesting than having always the same stuff with different textures :p

    I wouldn't mind something new. However... that's not going to stop me from getting any new jackets. I still want a blue one.

    The black one looks surprisingly appropriate on a Cardassian. No kidding, it looks like winter gear they would design, and for that purpose it works.
