You mean must mean CO not STO. Onslaught regardless, they seriously ()@() up by launching half finished.
"He shall be my finest warrior, this generic man who was forced upon me.
Like a badass I shall make him look, and in the furnace of war I shall forge him.
he shall be of iron will and steely sinew.
In great armour I shall clad him and with the mightiest weapons he shall be armed.
He will be untouched by plague or disease; no sickness shall blight him.
He shall have such tactics, strategies and machines that no foe will best him in battle.
He is my answer to cryptic logic, he is the Defender of my Romulan Crew.
He is Tovan Khev... and he shall know no fear."
There are over 1million who has in some way played Star Trek Online.
There are somewhere between 30k players who has activily played Star Trek Online over the last 2 weeks.
There was peak of 2k people online yesterday on Star Trek Online
That is just Steam statistics, don't know of ARC.
R&D mats are going for 10K when they should be at 55K nobody is buying anything from the exchange
Bought items for over 10.000.000 on the exchange and earned over 20.000.000 last few days.
nobody is buying anything from the c-store
Spent like 50 euro on C-Store items last month , I like shiny ships....
cryptic has taken all our money and invested it in other MMO's that steal the bandwidth from our server
I know there was a reason WoW was doing so well
WHY AM I PAYING , PLAYING , INTERESTED in star trek online ? because after all for most of us its not even online very much any more..
Well, you are not paying since no one is buying from the C-store as you stated.
what exactly are these "alleged" 2k players doing exactly ? STF's , exploration , PVP , exchange ? the false data being streamed to you is obviously a last ditch effort to squeeze a few dollars more from the pockets of unsuspecting newbies
It's not wise to question computers about numbers. You're more likely to be full of it than they are. :P
(really, you're reaching for a soapbox when you could just as well stop playing to relieve frustrations. Leave this inventive drama off the internet. It doesn't do anyone any good, most of all you.)
Bipedal mammal and senior Foundry author.
Notable missions: Apex [AEI], Gemini [SSF], Trident [AEI], Evolution's Smile [SSF], Transcendence
Looking for something new to play? I've started building Foundry missions again in visual novel form!

Second: Since we are are loosing our senses; Jesus is black, Reagan was the devil and The Goverement is lying about 9/11.
Now, on a more serious note
This is a Free to play game, it monthly-based module never worked since the game was really never finished when it got released.
However, I think Star Trek Online brings in the big bock since it got to F2P, if it didn't, then they would have worse options to play the game without paying, cause you can almost do anything without spending a dime. Take Old Republic as an example. They are bringing in millions cause their f2p choice sucks and pretty much squeeze people to pay and play to enjoy the game. And why not? Star Wars is a big brand, just the name is enough for people to spend money on it.
I spent 50 euro last month on the game, that is 75% more income for Cryptic then a subscription from me, if I payed that, then I am sure there was other who did the same with the release of the new Promotheus ship.
We get new content almost every month, that is more then I could say for about 90% of the MMO market, is that showing us consumer that the game is dead? No, it shows that they HAVE invested money in it.
Beside, Champions online will fall sooner then Star Trek Online, if the numbers do it justices.
Well speaking strictly for myself, I see lots of peeps buzzing around. Now I don't know if they're dropping $$$ into the game but I see a lot of the new shinies being flown. I know I bought most of them. If my wife ever finds out i'll be looking for internet access on some street corner somewhere.
Oh, and I'd be remiss if I didn't drop my own "can I haz your stuffs?"
STO: Where men are men and the women probably are too.
I support the Star Trek Battles channel.
With each passing day I wonder if I stepped into an alternate reality. The Cubs win the world series. Donald Trump is President. Britain leaves the EU. STO gets a dedicated PvP season. Engineers are "out of control" in STO.
Well, the OP may be overreacting a bit, but acting like there aren't less people playing than normal would be foolish. Repeated nerfs that TRIBBLE off the community, uber grind, monetizing the bejeezus out of everything, being "managed" to the point where it's "playing as intended"...I can go on...
This is going to have *some* effect on the audience, especially on the Star Trek fans that ABHOR situations like that.

Why can't new players get the past rewards from old Doom threads?
It's okay, the original Doom thread is just method acting really hard...
