Would be great to have this available for players who missed the anniversary event. We already have the Advanced Obelisk Carrier, Dyson Science Destroyer, etc.
Should the Kobali Samsar Cruiser be made available to players through the Lobi Store? 180 votes

Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though.
JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

^ Yes, for the same reason.
Or give us a chance to get it somewhere around February 2016.
I have the Samsar on three of my four characters. I played it enough to earn the Ship Trait and than parked it for the ships those chars have which I prefer. It is an okay ship but it really is just another tanky cruiser. Which having all four pieces of the Set makes more so.
Yeah, but here we're talking about a ship that's part of a set. An expensive set I might add. The other 3 pieces of that set are obtained by paying 5000 zen for the Command cruisers. Besides, if they'd redo the event next year, people would still have to work for it to get it. Some people were just unlucky and couldn't play when they first did the event, is it fair that they're paying 5000 zen for a set that they have no chance of ever completing?
At the very least they should make the console obtainable in some way.
No one is required to purchase 5,000 Zen worth of items to play this game. All purchases are entirely optional. Based upon a player's wants. Which are not needs.
Luck has nothing to do with a player's available time to play this game, either.
Had you paid attention while reading my post you would have not overlooked the part where I wrote having the Console avaialble in the Lobi Store would be a generous alternative.
EDIT: One more thing - Seeing 5,000 Zen as expensive is a relative vierwpoint. While I am not a true whale, I do meet most of the criteria.
Like I said, yes - because of the console. I couldn't care less about the ugly necromancer ship, the less I see them in space the better. However the console should be made purchasable with lobi at least, because people that missed the anniversary or new players that are considering getting the command cruisers will be put off by the fact that they can never complete the console set only because they joined or found out about the game later then others. And as we know - the majority of the STO playerbase are hopeless completionists, so having the command ships without the entire set would be a thorn in the eye to many people leading to them not purchasing those ships (which are completely awesome BTW) and not spending Zen just because of that.
I'm all for promotional/exclusive ships remaining limited and special in a way, but in this case either the complete ship or the console at the very least should be made available in the Lobi Store. Frankly, linking a console from a promotional and limited ship to a set of consoles from a cross-faction mega pack purchasable with real money from the Zen Store is right there among the Top 5 stupid things Cryptic has done in STO - I said that the first time I saw this back during the anniversary.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone use those deployable platforms...

I'm also all for a way for people to get the Risian ships.
Exclusivity for the sake of pointless exclusivity is pointless.
1000 times this.

It's real easy to play have and have not when you're the have right?
I am sick and tired of every MMO I play being polluted by immature children who want the shiny for themselves and only themselves, refusing to acknowledge that other people may not have been able to play during these events.
It doesn't really make a lot of sense from a development standpoint. I mean, I can understand the appeal of season/holiday events and rewards to encourage more play during those times. But to make them one-time only doesn't seem very efficient with the resources they claim to have to invest to produce a new ship asset. It makes more sense to bring that reward back annually to get more mileage out of it, and to get greater returns on the resources invested in it.
It'd be like spending a months of development on a series of story missions only to run them for a month and then remove them from the game forever, as opposed to recycling them to periodically generate interest for players. Why? Doesn't make any sense.
(It doesn't really affect me personally, I've got it unlocked.)
Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider.
Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.
Don't make ARC mandatory! Keep it optional only!
I'd rather see other people enjoy something that I have, then be the only one that has it. It's no fun when other people are sad because they can't get something that I have.
As others have pointed out, the console that comes with the Kobali Samsar is part of the set that comes with the Command Battlecruisers in the c-store, and there are 3 of those ships per faction. It also comes with the warp/singularity core that goes with the set you get from that 1 episode. Not allowing people to get the console means they'll never be able to complete either equipment set, for those who didn't get the ship during the event.
They did put the Dyson Science Destroyer from the 4th anniversary in the lobi store so you can complete the set that goes with the Dyson ships in the c-store as well as the set you get from that 1 story episode. I don't understand why they've completely ignored the Samsar. They could at least put it in the lobi store.

Let me another point, You didn't play during the time it was available, so you did not earn it during that time. What makes you so special to recieve it now?

Event ships should be special, once they window closes they should be gone.
They should put the console in the Lobi store, but not the ship. Honestly, who would pay 900 Lobi for a Samsar anyway?
The console is a pretty nice heal on any ship. Slap one on an escort and it can be a lifesaver. Saved my butt plenty of times. Also most of the new ship consoles are coming out with passives as well as activatable abilities. Don't know if the Samsar's console has that or not right off the top of my head.
As for my standpoint. The Kobali ship not only comes with that console, but the Kobali Warp Core as well. So I say come up with some way for people to complete the Kobali set as well as the console set.
