Looks eerily similar to an updated Jupiter class dreadnought?
Personally, I'm gonna go for the Omega design. The Jupiter is pretty much defunct now and the design deserves a chance to be updated. The Typhoon got to live on as the inspiration for the Starfleet Command Battlecruisers, I say the Jupiter should get to live on in spirit, too!
Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though. JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

I'm more interested in whether or not Feds will get their own faction frigates along with this ship. Defiants? Sabres? Ju'day/Condor types?
...Mirandas?
Personally, I always felt that if Starfleet ever got a unique carrier design of its own, it could maybe use something like the Spirit class as an analogous frigate design to match the B'Rel's and so forth.
The only downside is that Cryptic would have to work with CBS legal again to get the rights from Mark Rademaker, like they did with the Vesta. And he gave it pretty easily, too, but it just took months because of legal back-and-forth.
Alternative?
The Aerie class.
Another small ship design, already appeared in a canon production that Cryptic has legal access to, could easily be a new, launchable Starfleet frigate design.
i like that we have to work within design guidelines already approved. For that matter, it's going to be hard for me not to get on Team Omega, due to the striking similarities to the Jupiter.

I'm in the same boat, personally. The design deserves to live on somehow. It's a unique, atypical Starfleet design and I always appreciated it. The Omega choice is clearly someone's attempt at incorporating the spirit of the ship into a new 2410 design.
I think the Omega will win just because of sentiment. The Sigma is beautiful though it needs to be brought in as a science ship! Beta, Gamma, Delta are nice unique designs they would make awesome ships too with some minor touching up!

I dislike all the options. They all look like varients of existing T6 Ships. One looks like the new Patrol Escort, one looks like a version of the Fed Intel Cruiser, couple of them look like Command Ships, and the last one which people are gravitating towards is a mod of the Typhoon. Really think their ship artist is very 1-dimensional, I really wish they would get back to Traditional Star Trek designs.
But instead, we're about to get flying Goodyear Blimps for STO Federation Carriers...
I really am not fond of ANY of those designs tbh. And no, the Oddy already has 2 pets on it, it doesn't need a hangar bay.
The Oddy really doesn't have two pets really...one is Chevron separation with no target/control and the other is Aquarious ship which again goes off on it's own.
Both can't be used at the same time. Therefore at best it's one pet and it uses a precious console slot not a hanger slot. Not worth it.

This is actually why Ill be going with this one. My other choice is Delta with the Patrol Escortesque saucer. I hope that others agree with me that this Starship should look unique and while theres many on there that are unique in their own way. This one has a very obvious nod to the Jupiter. And because of that. It should win.
Omega and Alpha are my hard pics as well, with Delta coming in after them.
On a side note, the Epsilon and Sigma designs KINDA SORTA look like Cryptic-safe versions of the Typhon class.
I mean, unless I'm just.... stabbing in the dark on that one... heh.
Anything but an oddy look alike. I know they will have that one on the Cstore.
Just tired of same FED design ships. However, this is passing:
or something more modern:
If you didnt notice. The ship design you are showing, Delta, actually has a very obvious nod to the Enterprise J. And no offense but the J is a design that is more than likely at the tail end of the 2600s. Thats two hundred years more modern than where we are in the timeline. Im all for the Delta being a runner up. But, I dont want a ship that is too much like the J considering where we are down the pipe from it.

I see it, and I agree both ships look similar. Not exactly the same, but definitely similar. But hey, that's just my opinion, and it is no more "right" or "wrong" than yours, or anyone else's.

Yes? And? Is that all you see? Is that all you are going to focus on? You're going to leave out completely the fact that it seems to have a nearly identical main section to the Jupiter, as well as a four nacelle arrangement like it? As well as having a similar profile and feels like it's also going to be a massive ship, too?
Even the side strips alongside the Omega evoke a feel of the same negative space design of the Jupiter class's strange engineering section, as I imagine those strips indicate flight deck arrangement.
It's just..... dude, it's so incredibly obvious the Omega class is a nod to the Jupiter. I'm not even the only one to think so.
Why do they (mostly) all have to have four nacelles? The ones with two are ugly, but I've never been a fan of four nacelles either. I like the Alpha and Omega designs, just give them two nacelles and I'd be happy. Guess I'll wait for the next stage and see how things progress...
I predict the winning design will be hated like the Dervish. It will be the second coming of the Dervish.
What's wrong with the Dervish? It's not beautiful but it's far from the worst out there.

However, it's a MUCH MUCH better idea than letting people submit their own designs.
...Mirandas?
If anything is added like the KDF's B'rel's, I would assume it would be more along the Sabre, considering the size and intended purpose.

Yeah...there are much uglier ships out there like the USS Vengeance, the Enterprise J, or the Jupiter
