Herald dreadnaught would be cool, whatever it's name is. Though I am not sure it could fit in some missions so probably not feasible, perhaps the Vomph can be an option. While less likely, a smaller B'ger would certainly be cool with a special console for launching those bigger plamsa energy bolts that are hopefully much more powerful and resilient than those puny 1hp ones we get from the Omega torpedo launcher, I miss the old days of when that torpedo didn't suck so much, love erasing ships from existence.

(Most of the ships listed above are probably not warships. Which isn't saying much. Unless intentionally demilitarized, most ships have significant firepower. Kinda like Starfleet ships are not suppsoed to be warships and are still heavily armed... It's just that you don't want to send a ship that carries millions or billions of civilians into battle if you can help it.)

We don't want what the Feds have. We want the equivalent. We want fairer treatment. Concern, desire, greed to some extent, and passionate belief that the enough people would buy KDF items to make it worth Cryptic's while.

Yeah, that always cracked me up, though as a Battletech fan, it hasn't stopped me from naming my T4 Galaxy the USS Star League (I'll be able to afford that Dreadnought eventually )
And mustrumridcully0, the Culture series always had such awesome names for ships. Two of my favorites were always "Ultimate Ship the Second" and "I said I'm carrying a big stick".

While we're here, I have another question: has any thought been given to making miniature versions of these available as non-combat pets as a reward for certain 'headhunter' achievements? Example: destroying all thirteen named Tarantulas (i.e. getting 'Tholian Capital Punishment', 'Tholian Siege Breaker' and 'Tholian Malfeasance' accolades) gives you a package containing two mini-Tarantula pets (one space, one ground).

I'd rather see more home-faction Dreadnoughts. A T6 Vo'quv *Dreadnought* Carrier, a T6 Jupiter-class Dreadnought, and a new Romulan Dreadnought(other than the Kara)
The "space battleship" of the Starfleet, the Federation-class were the largest and most powerful ships until the advent of the refitted Enterprise-subclass Constitution refits, in 2272. As it turned out, the Federation was slightly inferior to the dreadnoughts of other powers.
I don't see that going over well. Ask Geko about how well the Varanus sold, compare that ship to the DSSV, then consider the results of releasing a "slightly inferior" ship. All we'd end up with are statements like: "Our internal metrics show that Federation players no longer purchase Dreadnoughts, so it's not cost effective to make more of them in the future. Instead, we're prioritizing the release of new Romulan Dreadnought Warbirds, since our metrics indicate that Romulan players heavily favor this style of play."
Personally, I'd rather see a 3-pack of T6 Dreadnought Flagships, all with comparable base capabilities this time and capable of using their respective T5 console sets + the T6 shared console. A slight re-work of the T5 consoles/set bonuses would be nice too.
With each passing day I wonder if I stepped into an alternate reality. The Cubs win the world series. Donald Trump is President. Britain leaves the EU. STO gets a dedicated PvP season. Engineers are "out of control" in STO.

I support this message. I gave up and use the JEM Dreadnought & HEC for my Ferasan Tact.
If they switch themes and this year's winter ship isn't Breen, I hope it is Andorians as they are another arctic humanoid.
Maybe they will go with another Ferengi ship, but that might get a cold reception, not that I don't like the Nandi.
