did you actually talk to the people in the mission (other than mission required dialogue)? they state that the knowledge was always there. they just had no reason to use it until the Vaadwaur showed up to take them out. dunno what i think about the turn the story is taking but I can see how they got there.
So we have a lot going on based on a species from "Year of hell". but this new site defaults to censor hell. So how the hell can we talk about year of hell is we can't say hell?
Everywhere I look, people are screaming about how bad Cryptic is.
What's my position?
That people should know what they're screaming about!

We just call the episode Year of Four Stars.
There are fourlights stars.
Star Trek Online Advancement: You start with lowbie gear, you end with Lobi gear.
ANNORAX: You can't imagine the burden of memory that I carry. Thousands of worlds, billions of lives, gone, brought back, gone again. I try to rationalise the loss. They're not really being destroyed, because they never existed. Sometimes I can almost convince myself.
so tell me...if the only way to restore something erased by the timeship is to destroy the timeship, how could the above statement have been made?
Other people already answered your question - I see it the same way. By removing certain events, factions, species whatever changes he did before might be reverted - his whole strife was to bring back the Krenim Empire which vanished before his incursions. Then he brought it back by erasing another culture only to find this caused the death of Krynum colonies and his wife. Then he tried to bring her back - which ultimately only succeeded after removing the timeship itself and invalidating everything he had done. "Year of Red" shows us that changes to a timeline are immedeatly taking effect in real time in the current timeline (kinda like "Back to the Future"), they don't create a new one (which has been depicted differently in Star Trek before). The Krunnim timeship rewrites the current, present timeline. When the ship was deleted it was gone, the paradoxon itself was removed/rectified.

It's just that Red Foreman retained some of his memories... which I find interesting
It's possible that he had some device that he came up with during the years trying to fix things so he could retain at least some of the memories of what occurred. Or like others mentioned that the Temporal agencies came and lectured him...

Hope the the Nihyron ships are considered also, as they were part of that episode also.
Not impressed by the Krenim ships I've looked up.
Question of taste. I for me dont want those Nihidron ships in the game.. for god sake. But i will love to have some Krenim love. Taste is subjective and as all the lockbox ships we have had, cryptic will never care about if a ship looks good or not. And for me sooo many lockbox ships are so ugly, and others arent. Or the designs are really dumb, or watever. But Krenim??? a perfect lockbox candidate.
And the Time Ship is not going to be playable, sadly but it will be perfectly playable as it is the size of a lot of ships in the game.
yea, that kind of looks like a Neg'var that melted.

"It's nothing personal, I just don't feel like I've gotten to know a person until I've sniffed their crotch." "We said 'no' to Mr. Curiosity. We're not home. Curiosity is not welcome, it is not to be invited in. Curiosity...is bad. It gets you in trouble, it gets you killed, and more importantly...it makes you poor!"

Have you seen the Bulwark? It really Isn't a stretch... Like at all.
I actually have to agree with this. I usually do not see people's phallic comparisons (maybe due to limited experience with male anatomy ) - but I definitely see ways to have fun with a bulwark, aside from captaining one...

My guess is we never end up using the thing, and the krenim then steal it and we need to stop them. Perhaps we stop them before it's used at all, and destroy the ship through normal methods.
The technology used in the Time in a Bottle mission to "hide" from the Iconians, is really all we need to gain some kind of tactical advantage.
It won't be as instant win lame as using Annorax's ship, but really, who actually believes Starfleet would allow something 100 times more dangerous than omega particles to be used?
"He shall be my finest warrior, this generic man who was forced upon me.
Like a badass I shall make him look, and in the furnace of war I shall forge him.
he shall be of iron will and steely sinew.
In great armour I shall clad him and with the mightiest weapons he shall be armed.
He will be untouched by plague or disease; no sickness shall blight him.
He shall have such tactics, strategies and machines that no foe will best him in battle.
He is my answer to cryptic logic, he is the Defender of my Romulan Crew.
He is Tovan Khev... and he shall know no fear."

Or maybe we accidentally use it the wrong way and make things worse than they are?
Or maybe we accidentally use it the wrong way and make things worse than they are?
I'd say we deserve it for being stupid enough to use it, but things would be so messed up that probably no one deserves it. Except maybe Q.
The ship was capable of eradicating an entire civilization with a single shot. Nope, we're not going to get to fly that, I hope.
I want a ship capable of Ravioli. Wait. there's the Gekli pet and holoemitter... Nevermind.

Those that do not wish to be named, their work says that not only will we use the Annorax-class 'science dreadnought,' but that players will be able to obtain it for themselves via lockbox or lobi. The devs really are going there.
*shakes head*
We could call it shark jumped and all, but really they did that a year ago with the player-usable Undine ships, or even two years before that with player-usable Tholian ships. More of the same, sadly.

Maybe, but then they went and lost some of that sense assuming the Federation would be on board for creating such a weapon. Idk I can't see it.

I don't see how, given the scale.

Confirmed, the Nihydron Destroyer will be the T5 Booby prize of the new Lockbox.
Your father was captain of a starship for twelve minutes. He saved 800 lives, including your mother's, and yours.
I dare you to do better.
And the Voth Bulwark looks like an Anal sex toy... Welcome to Sci-Fi.

Leaked images the Nihydron looks pretty good. Done a little bit differently than images clipped from the show and blown up.
Zahl ship looks pretty good also.
