To be honest, People are probably burnt out on Single player missions from doing their Delta recruits, I'm not surprised this one is not doing so well.
It was a horrible idea.. we just went through all the missions on our Delta Recruits and they think we're going to want to do them again.. for less rewards?
For what? Some extra Dil next week?
I'll make more Dilithium overall if I just spend both weeks doing my normal Dilithium earning instead of spending 1 week occupied by missions I don't want to replay so that I can get a little extra next week. By ignoring the objective and proceeding as normal for 2 weeks, I get more out of it.
You play your way and let others play their way. I didn't take part because I don't want to.. if you don't like that, then tough.
I did my replays the week before to get the rapid reloads for my B'Rel.
Need to do Delta missions to get Delta marks, so that takes away from replay time.
Need to do Undine battle zone to get the Undine marks, so that takes away from replay time.
Need to do Voth battle zone for a few more Dyson marks, so that's almost done taking away time from replays.
Basically by the time I'm done with getting my time gated bonuses for the time gated reps I just finished, there's not much time left, and I had already gotten the rewards I wanted multiple copies of.
Replays are almost negative advancement on your skill points past 50 so they don't help filling out your spec tree either.
This is my Risian Corvette. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
I really would like to be able to say that I'd be participating if the mission replay rewards were better but...
If the mission replay rewards were better, I'd be playing them on characters I actually care about - not my delta alts - so I wouldn't be helping either way.
TBH the only event I participated in was the first one, since we were all playing the missions at the time anyway. Was genuinely disappointed we didn't make T3 on that one, but 2x xp was good enough.

Ditto, I have run out of steam on my Delta alt. Sitting at the halfway point in the Breen arc and will probably finish it up by the weekend. But like others I have little motivation to replay stuff I already did. Had it been a FE replay event for the special items I am sure we'd have hit the higher level points by now. But to replay what we just did was just bad all around. All of the other weekly goals were tied to stuff I'd already do.... I don't need an incentive to DOFF or to contribute stuff to my fleet -- I already do that as part of the game.
Lol nandos like the rewards. That's not his problem. I'm certain he's talking about content fatigue brought upon by repetition.
It does not matter why you do not want to put forth the effort. For some people the effort is simply not worth the reward. If the reward had been bigger - say 50,000 Dilithium like a CE Event - the Content fatigue might not have been an issue at all. The current reward offered just did not trump the effort required to get it in this instance.
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.
i would have replayed missions with featured episode replays acticated (even without lobi). but for 20% xp and a subpar reward? no, thanks.
I got my combat tribble, and might finish off the dominion set, but that's about it. Bonus dilithium, coming off of a bonus dilithium weekend isn't that exciting. The featured replay rewards (with or without lobi) would've made this a more interesting thing to do.
No thanks, playing through the FE once was enough, plus it was a bad time to have that as the meter filler due to it being dilithium weekend. I had and probably many others had a better thing to do than re-run low rewarding, time consuming FE.
It would have been nice to have a further dil bonus but after the fail of the ec bonus which was the worst DR reward yet, who knows what they would have made exempt from this bonus.

Exactly :P Btw cosmic is right, maybe with an HUUUGE reward while doing so... maybe eh, but idk, with all this lag... meh :P
Have you tried not using any of your Traits to deal with the lag - as much of the lag seems to be tied to various problematic T6 Traits?

We tried everything, literally, this is the main topic of our fleet ts every night since 2/3 patches, so i don't want to talk about that even here in this thread, let's stay in topic :P
I refuse to Replay any missions more than necessary, boosts/bonuses be damned.
And only do if I really want/need the rewards at the end.
As it is, the Mission rewards for replay missions are mostly TRIBBLE; especially for the time investment in some of them (the ungodly and atrocious Cardassian arc). And the early missions have been played so many time across multiple alts I don't WANT to replay them even if they're short and fast.
[Acc]x2? [Acc][Dmg]? Etc are all TRIBBLE mods. Uncommon? Rare? Also worthless. Until Cryptic lets us pick the mods of the reward equipment we want upon completion of the mission (in a sort of "store" similar to the Dil Rep Store weapons), I only grind equipment sets or the occasional unique weapon that is actually worth spending some time on.
Until the story becomes more engaging and the rewards actually a reward worth the investment, I will not replay missions any more than necessary. Not even for a boost as we have right now.
If they had done an FE rerun so our recruits could get the pimp cane, shard, etc i would have been all over it but i just played through it all for the DR rewards so it does not really interest me to do it again.
So, the Devs told us to replay old stories.
As per their command, I've been playing them, on variant characters.
However... a week further, and only 90% done?
Am I the only one with a handful players actually doing as told?
Sad.
VERY sad.
I hope the very few of us that actually bothered, will receive something.
even more sad is that your eating what they are serving rather then looking and wondering if its even edible!
when i go and buy into something, i research it out first before buying and then deciding. what your stating essentially and with that previous community complaint thread of yours in mind as well; is that people shouldnt research things and they should remain ignorant of the facts?
yes, it is very sad in the end.
T6 Miranda Hero Ship FTW. Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.

The only missions semi-worthy of replay are those from the breen arc. I will give you one guess from which arc the missions are bugged.
All the other missions are simply not appealing for replay or rewards.
To be honest i will be very surprised if Tier 1 is reached at all.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
I'll pitch in and help finally on this. Got my KDf science ships and such to a point where I can do it.
I'll go play... What Lies Beneath... one more time. Because really... it's the best episode int he entire game.
Well right after I finish cleaning all the malware/adware on this laptop from letting my mom use it.

And, I am probably more disapointed in you, sucking up to the PR-Department.
Of my 2 surviving pre-Delta Recruitment characters, one is doing Iconian space daily, and one is doing Kobali Prime ground daily to get marks.
Ain't got no time for (practically) no-reward replays on one Delta Recruit when others need leveling.
Thats the true "sad thing"........
