The title is simple, because the question is simple. It has been suggested that noone is asking for a T6 Sci ship for the KDF and this thread was the brainchild of that suggestion. Mainly to prove it wrong.
You can discuss what you'd like to see it be, but frankly I think it would be quicker to just reply
YES PLEASE DEVS!
as this sorts out min 10 character post and should get the numbers up quickly by being quick and to the point. Of course, you are welcome to say no, but then why bother. Abstaining is just as good an indicator of not being bothered by wanting one as saying no thanks.
I'll start...
YES PLEASE DEVS!
"...we are far more united and have far more in common with each other than the things that divide us.”

Yes, please! Even though people keep saying "Klingons are warriors = no more science", throw us and the Rommies a bone. I'm still using my Voth Palisade which I adore, but would love a T6 upgrade instead of a T5U.
And not just a Gorn ship under the KDF banner. An actual KLINGON Science Vessel. The only Klingon Science Vessels in existence are the KDF Dyson Science Destroyers - all others are Hegemony-originated Support Vessels.
Edit: I also strongly believe that the reason the C-store KDF science-oriented ships don't sell that well is because they're Gorn ships. I could be wrong, but that conclusion seems pretty likely.
I dunno. I once considered making a gorn who would fly the Varanus at endgame, but held off because the KDF campaign is really klingon-centric. In other words it's not the ship or the race that pushed me away, but the fact that it would feel weird having a gorn character do stuff like save Klingon Jesus and descend into Klingon Hell to kill Klingon Satan.
Yes, if it is a decent ship. That means 2ndary deflector, sensor analysis, and a non cruiser turn rate.
New home of the Romulan Republic.
I have an idea for what Season 11 should be; Season 11: The Big Bug Fix.
I have not been able to read my bug tickets in over a year, not even the tickets about not being able to see my tickets.
I find the drama of your signature proof of your immaturity, this means you, DR whiners.
I could not upvote/+1 this enough if we had the ability to on this forum. The lack of a T6 KDF (and RRF) science ship at this point is beyond dumb; it's as if the devs WANT the non-Fed factions to languish and vanish. A compentent Dev team should be encouraging people to make KDF and RRF toons, not building walls to keep people in place. People in one spot don't buy dozens on ships for a dozen toons, they buy 2-3 ships for one toon...

good conclusion because i wont fly lesser species ships. my toons are all Klingons and wouldn't be caught dead in a vessle that was created by a species we had already fought and beaten. proving that Klingon ships are superior. why downgrade?
so yes please devs kdf science ships. Klingons may be warriors but it does not make them idiots. ( Remember Janeway had to steal the time travel DEVICE from a Klingon> sounds pretty sciency to me) a good warrior will use what ever tools and skills they have available to defeat their enemy. be it disruptor fire or science magic.
Trophies for killing FEDS ahh those were the days.
My only KDF toon is an engineer, but I'd support a T6 sci boat, and a decent T6 escort class, if only to reduce the "never mind your char class, fly a T6 uber cruiser for teh win..." syndrome.
So, as requested...

Well, I would've loved a t6 kdf and rommie sci ship, until they completely killed pvp. They kinda killed alts too. I made 2 delta recruits, but just gave up because there is too much grinding to do for all my toons. I don't even have the specs close to done on my main toons. And if you don't agree with pvp being dead, try to put structural integrity collapse on a partigen build. Anyways, I gave up and made a swtor account. Maybe I'll save money I would've spent on this game on an xbox or ps4.
I have to confess, I probably wouldn't buy one if they released it tomorrow.
Before I moved my KDF Drain Specialist into their Sarr Theln, I would have been all over a proper T6 upgrade from the ADSD. I just don't see myself leaving the ship unless we get a new one with some serious energy drain perks(that can compete with the Breen console 2-set and having Orion Interceptors).
The only KDF ship I'm personally in the market for, at this time, is a proper attack ship for my Delta Recruit. The Mat'ha is already great ship, but I'm waiting to see what the new pilot ship has to offer.
A T6 Klingon science ship is what I want more than anything. Be it a D5 retrofit or a new ship altogether. But it has to be done right and not a cheap rip off like the T5 Gorn ship was. And it has to be a true science ship, not something like those Dyson destroyers.
Done right and released I'll buy it in a heart beat.

I think the KDF should keep it's distinctive taste, so a t6 command Vo'quv type ship, which certainly has space to also have a commander Science/Command Hybrid.
Thanks for the Advanced Light Cruiser, Allied Escort Bundles, Jem-Hadar Light Battlecruiser, and Mek'leth

Yes, I want a proper KDF Science ship. Even if it is T5U, I'd purchase such a ship. Of course, as long as Geko answers to no one but himself, we'll not see such a ship. So once again, the new EP is merely a figurehead and has no real authority. Despite what he has posted here.
A six year old boy and his starship. Living the dream.
It seems to me, that if you could be more specific about what it is you are asking for in a vessel, it would give the developers something to build around. If they were so inclined.

Many examples over the years have been posted on the forums here, community built designs/layout's. It's the dev's either not paying attention, or more likely Geko just doing what he wants and not catering to the customer base.

Pretty much all of the above.
SA & SST vs. fighter/frigates is what distinguished a Sci ship from a Carrier.
Maneuverability and shields vs hull defense is what distinguishes a Sci from a Cruiser.
Hence why the Vo'Quv and the Recluse don't come up as "viable Science ships" because, Sci Cmdr or not, you're flying a carrier - and for the longest time, all carriers were Sci Cmdr - look at the Atrox.
And the turn / shields thing is what distinguishes the Tal'Shiar Adapted Battlecruiser into cruiser territory instead of Science ship territory...
Now here's a laugher for you. What is the "standard" battlecruiser conversion? Strip a touch of hull into maneuverability, tack on ability to use DHCs, and *poof* - battlecruiser.
Now look at the Vesta. Take a "light cruiser" aka science ship, trade a touch of hull into maneuverability, give Aux DHCs (and ability to use regular ones) and *poof* - "Light Battlecruiser".
Boy, I love how my Fed flew a "Klingon-esque science design" for years while the KDF goes without...
KDF Vesta, with "Enhanced Battlecloak" instead of the "flight deck hangar"? I have two KDF scis that would fly her as soon as finances allowed...
Detecting big-time "anti-old-school" bias here. NX? Lobi. TOS/TMP Connie? Super-promotion-box. (aka the two hardest ways to get ships) Excelsior & all 3 TNG "big hero" ships? C-Store. Please Equalize...

THOUSANDS (read: three) of years ago I bought the Varanus, because the KDF had no other true "science" ship for my main to fly and I thought it looked cool enough. And for a while it coexisted in my main line-up of ships alongside the Vo'Quv, Vor'cha, Odyssey, Luna, and Nebula. But time marched on and it became more and more obsolete. The Luna I upgraded to fleet before DR hit, but for my Klingon I went with the Fleet Kamarag instead, because the Luna had kept pace better with its tactical focused setup. Only recently did I venture into Klingon science again with a T5U Ta'Sub DSD, and I like it pretty well. I just wish I had a ship halfway between that and the Kamarag, something a bit more maneuverable that doesn't need the whole "tactical mode" gimmick, and maybe the ability to subsystem target with cannons rather than beams.
Please devs, don't let this keep going by the wayside. A ship with big ol' honking sensors and exotic capabilities doesn't necessarily have to be a "research" or "exploration" vessel. It could be a long range recon raptor, or an electronic warfare battlecruiser, or a specially designed picket ship for working in groups to detect and counter other factions' cloaking ships like-oh just throwing it out there-those miserable petaqs the Tal Shiar? Heck, the DR "Intel" ships were a golden opportunity that was just passed up, because who is going to want a ship that's science first and battlecruiser or raptor second more than Klingon Intelligence?

Frankly, a 5 sci console T6 KDF ship with one hangar like the Vesta would actually get me playing my KDF sci toon.

I'm sure your DPS is great, but as Kahless said, "a petaQ with high system mastery is still a petaQ." (Well, he should have said it...!)

if I stop posting it doesn't make you right it. just means I don't have enough rum to continue interacting with you.

I heard Gecko (Al Rivera)shoot down the idea of A KDF sci ship because "Klingons R Warriors lol", on that podcast .
The KDF is essentially hosed as long as Gecko as long as gets his way.
Commander Science BOFF seat?
Sensor Analysis?
Subsytem targeting?
1.3 (or more) shield modifier?
Turn rate of 12 (or more)?
