STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.
This season was more than just new content, it was also the space map revamp. Not to mention any new episodes they plan to release between now and the next season.

Because they didn't keep adding new missions to Delta after the initial release . . . oh, wait THEY DID. Zombie Harry Kim would like a word with you, and to eat your brains.
It didn't exceed my expectations, which were particularly low anyway.
Basically I patched, did the two missions, did once the new queues, travelled sector space a bit.
Realized I ran out once again of things to do and logged out. Switched on PS4 and returned to Driveclub.
PvE is non-repeatable repetitive content. I really couldn't care doing them a second time, nor today nor tomorrow nor in the future.
Just my 2 Fame points.
I love the irony of it. Today S10 launched, while Driveclub released the April major update which brought new cars, events, features and improved multiplayer stability. Little effort is put in PvE content but even then, the "Legendary" AI difficulty is something nearly unbeatable.
Basically, they couldn't have released S10 in a worse moment for me lol.
Usually, you get someone who likes content complaining when we get a system update or vice-versa. This time we get a set of 5 new content missions added and a ton of new system stuff as well, and yet still get people complaining.
Gotta love people who can't appreciate what's given to them for free.

It's not a matter of complaining about free stuff. It's a matter of being passionate about the game and seeing the potential wasted and the oppurtunities missed at making it feel like a good prodcut in thier eyes.
Passion is a god thing. Puching the Dev's to do better only helps the game.
Not that I am complainig about any of this. I can't get online because I am at work.
plays f2p game with free expansions ...complains!!
If the expansions are bad and repetitive there are plenty of reasons to complain. Yeah they give them for free, but if they're badly orchestrated and based on same old PvE content... Well I won't spend time here.

Nothing to see here folks, move along.
Why are you quoting me? I was telling OP how a season release usually only has one FE and was questioning why he thought 2 was too little. Especially since normally episodes come out one at a time, except for expansions, making two a extra nice treat. In essence you are telling me what I already told him. Reading comprehension needs to be your new ally my friend.
As Zephram Cochrane once said, "That'll do, pig. That'll do." - April 1st 2015.
Hmm, I'm a bit upset with the new STF's. People leaving left and right after realizing they can't even penetrate the NPCs shields in Normal mode while taking a ton of damage in return. I'm not sure that this will keep new players or casual players around. I'm sure they will get nerfed eventually but not before scaring players off. Normal mode STFs should be tested with normal run of the mill drops you get from story line missions. Although I have to say that they are quite fun with the right group but thats in advanced mode with people i know have quite a bit of DPS. I dont know, I just consider Normal mode a que up for a quickie run with whomever else ques. The timers for optionals in Normal mode seem to be fine as you cant except to beat them everytime with a random group but still can complete it for a reward.
It has several great features. Its not all about FEs.
Yes, there do seem to be a bunch of great new gameplay features. It's just surprising that "The Iconian War! Culmination of all the dangling plot threads & conspiracy theories of the past 5 years! Promoted with it's own lead-up event! Etc, etc, etc! /fanfare"....
....is two quests.
Just looking back at the recent seasons - New Romulus was a lot more than that. Dyson/Solanae has 8-9 quests plus all the adventure zone stuff. Delta, even before they added the extra handful of quests, was a lot more. Yes, the sector space revamp was a large effort. But it wasn't advertised as "Season 10! Sector Space! (oh, and something about Iconians)." :P
edit: that said, Sector Space does seem like it'll be the main content I play, as I plan on making a second Delta Recruit to see how leveling a new character is on the new map. /shrug
- 2 FEs that will take me an hour to do and will happily never do again.
- STFs that I will probably do a few times.
- No more sector walls. Nice to see for the first time but after half an hour will continue avoiding sector space as usual because there's nothing to do there.
- More grind that I don't care to do and more lockboxes that I don't care spending on.
Since Cryptic killed the only truly enjoyable non-repetitive endgame content, PvP, there's nothing to do in this game.
And you realise that there are people who have paid lifetime subs and are gold subscribers?
Personally I think new content should be charged for f2p players.
If they did that they would lose 90% of their players. That would be bad for the game. Flip side is maybe the IP would be given to more competent developer :P

So bringing the Sector Map Walls down was a waste? The new layout and feeling of actually being in the middle of no where was a waste?
I generally think this is more of a 'Im so used to complaining that I cant help it, I need to find something new to complain about' thing than a 'Im passionate so Im critical' thing.
If this is your first Season Update. It might be understandable. But Seasons arent just a once every 6 month thing. Theres new content coming out over the course of that Season.

Look another PvP is everything post. Even though PvP has never been anything special in this game since launch. Go play EVE.

So we get 2 featured episodes and one story arc mission. is there no other story content??
Yea thats it and from first looks at it a direct comparison to Delat Rising and its game demand increases I think were off pretty good with only 1 new reput and 15 more spec points to spend.
2 new mission 3 new queues will be more than enough for me till summer event.
I think I'm going to like Season 10.

This is easily one of the chunkier season updates the game has had...
Top DPS 102k
I don't like the part at the end of Delta Flight.
(SPOILER)
Please tell me Miral was referencing the Herald Dyson Sphere and not a fourth one.
Rather a banned forum poster with his new account for ranting..

It's a Season, not an Expansion, and there's likely to be S10.5 in play as well...as has become the norm, eh?

quoted for truth.
