Me, too. At first I wasn't sure if I'd be into it, but as it turns out, I'm enjoying it more than I thought I would.

Yeah the Cardi/Dominion arc was pretty brutal to re-live. Especially those terrible cutscenes you can't skip through, that needs to be addressed everywhere in-game.
Naa not done Cardassian yet.
~Kurland here!
Prepare something in a browser...
~This is Kurland!
...to do during excruciatingly long...
~Come in, this is Kurland!
...and boring cutscenes.
~Kurland...?
Sad part about this bit, is my mother goes and sees a vascular surgeon, by the name of Kurland no doubt.
Praetor of the -RTS- Romulan Tal Shiar fleet!
That's not even taking "Of Bajor" in account... god I hated that mission so much.
I bought motion accelerator for my delta dweeb just for that mission.
Run over here! Now run back! Run over there! Pew hologram Pew! Now run back! (x27764)
Really looking forward to the revamp of that arc.
Makes me feel like Samuel L Jackson screaming "SAY KURLAND AGAIN!" while hold a phaser to his face.

Here you go. lol
All the other missions until Second Wave?
URGH!
Tons of Cardassians and Terrans! Shoot them all in similar corridor settings! There, after too many groups, you win! Now do it again too many times until the interesting stuff!
I'm enjoying Delta Recruitment overall. It's a long event, so I'm not feeling particularly rushed to get to the end. And it gives me a reason to set up a new, viable alt - and the per-level rewards make it easier to get end-game ready.
My negvar is definitely worth paying 1k zen More than I originally paid for it.
.................................................................
you people are shameless.
got to agree.
said it would be a blast and it is.
funny, I thought the Cardassian arc one of the best storylines in the game.
my thought exactly, and did I say its a blast.
When I think about everything we've been through together,
maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,
and if that journey takes a little longer,
so we can do something we all believe in,
I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.

The real fun is when I get to Lv50 and get my Kumari geared up with Andorian weaponry.
USS Casinghead NCC 92047 launched 2350
Fleet Admiral Stowe - Dominion War Vet.
Did you miss all the threads in the factions' 'shipyard' forums (especially Federation) where players were asking for exactly that?
If you don't want them, don't buy them. But there are a lot of players who had been asking for updates / re-releases of these ships for years.
Thank you STO for another great idea, I finally get to see all the changes my main toon did so many years ago. Love the new rewards and story line.
Yeah... they should just let you buy one ship and it lasts for the entirety of the time you play the game... (sarcasm of course)....
I enjoy ground combat and fumigating the stations from cardassians and terrans was good practice.

What does any of that have to do with Delta Recruitment?
"Critics who say that the optimistic utopia Star Trek depicted is now outmoded forget the cultural context that gave birth to it: Star Trek was not a manifestation of optimism when optimism was easy. Star Trek declared a hope for a future that nobody stuck in the present could believe in. For all our struggles today, we haven’t outgrown the need for stories like Star Trek. We need tales of optimism, of heroes, of courage and goodness now as much as we’ve ever needed them."

Bugs encountered so far included looking for tech or info that didn't exist on one map, and 1 missing engineer on Rhhl'oohhh'll station after careful inspection of every corner of in the dark with a flashlight. I doubt they were abducted from a failure to shoot the facehugger spider as this same problem happened before on the STF. Surprisingly few bugs so far, perhaps because the Rom missions were revamped.
A scenario that was most unpleasant for the Romulan Science Commander was finding herself in a D'Deridex that has a practically non-existent turn rate unless buffed by cloak, EptE or Evasive Maneuvers (all of which came in use, often in combo), equipped with 3 dual beam banks and 1 DHC, and 3 rear plasma torps, and a Boff setup make for tanking, up against 3 waves of Elachi each of about 12 enemies including frigates and escorts, on the last planet following their trail, playing on advanced.
It took around 40 minutes to finish that last night. The thought of warping out to travel to Mol'Rihan for a refit did cross my mind, but at warp 9.9 all that would take more than finishing it, especially after discovering wave 1 was made up of all the enemies on the map without any help from those useless NPC ally fighter ships that blow up in warp core breaches of their own making. Re-playing on normal would have felt like cheating.
Yes, the captain in her tal shiar uniform was wondering why she's forced to ally after already surviving a planetary destruction, finding a new colony homeworld, and making a stand against Tholians, True Way, Hirogen, and Elachi. If that oh-so-mighty federation ever bothered to take its self-appointed police of the galaxy role more seriously, with Section 31 keeping tabs on everything, they might bother themselves enough to take a stand against the Tal Shiar sellout of their own Star Empire survivors to the mysterious aliens who, you know, might actually one day turn on their federation allies. The Klingons too could perhaps take a time out from family wars to notice the looming threat of the Tal Shiar.
Ground maps on advanced also seem too easy so far. There are no options to take cover as often you get shot through walls, everyone has perfect accuracy every time, movement and fatigue are irrelevant, and NPCs generally stand there firing at each other without any special abilities or tactics. The environments are also sterile, which don't take impact damage, don't change, don't provide tactical advantages or usable resources, can't be interacted with freely, and generally don't play much of a role for exploration or being altered in order to progress through it.
It also doesn't make much sense how a single outdated ship or crew of green quality Boffs that have never worked with each other before can and are expected to wipe out entire maps of enemies.
Those points aside, the trek-ness of Star Trek is there, and the MMO aspect combined with a great community somehow still keeps it captivating, 9 characters later, 2 of which are delta recruits.

I assume your talking about the Fleet neg'var cause there was never a cstore version. In which case all I can say is pay credits for fleet modules? But yeah they should do discounts for T6 versions of T5 cstore ships atleast like 25% off. And lockbox ships should get at min a option for lobi to upgrade to T6 for like 1-200 lobi.
As well, using DR's access to extra in-mission content to further flesh out the story with other DR-exclusive mini-areas.
The delta symbol is what denotes us as a delta recruit. I think they said that's permanent.
<Nods in agreement>.
I have, and yes while it is still annoying sometimes, overall the Delta Recruit event is still fun. But then I have never let one little problem dim my view of the overall picture...except that one out of place pixel on my "new" monitor...that thing is annoying as hell.
