STO REBIRTH - amazingly good.

    The part I'm looking forward to is reliving 5 years of the TRIBBLE that gets posted here. Think after the reboot you'll have to wait 4-5 years for the sheep to start with the "players love it!" tripe. On the plus side the newer posters and the alt accounts, can seem like "old timers" when they complain about stuff.

    It would also be good for all the posters who feel entitled and think the game has been jumping up and down on their favorite puppy for 5 years. A fresh start might help their blood pressure and allow them to mature more so they don't go down such awkward social paths.


    This could be a real good thing for the physical and mental health of many people here, it's nice when a company looks out for its customers.:P

    Aww man. I really liked playing without a subscription fee. Just another shameless money grab. Thanks Cryptic!

    As a result of this, I will be leaving STO. I assure you, the worth of what I have in-game is more than $15. So, the first person who donates me $15 so that I can pay the subscription fee to get in-game will get my stuff.

    now this really would have been funny if they had temp shut down holideck and placed red shirt up with the old system . now that would have been a great APRIL FOOLS JOKE

    3.2Gb.... I only get a 212Mb download, then the launcher says it has finished, but the game can't be launched due to missing files.... :confused:

    Can someone do a step-by-step process on how to get into "rebirth"

    using the Cryptic Launcher... no arc steam... thank you...

    P.S I followed the steps from reddit but I can't seem to get to the full patch.... keep getting file not found...

    Are you using ARC,Steam, or the game launcher?

    Steam and the game launcher will give an option for the shards Holodeck, Tribble, and Redshirt

    Right above the progress bar, it should show the different shards you be able to pick from.

    That isn't S1 sto. That's LAUNCH sto. S1 came along as the first big update.
