Trouble loading the launcher

Is anyone else having issues with loading the launcher? It seems to start ok, but then won't get any further than logging me in. No version check or engage button. Just a greyed out non-functional patch button.

    have to turn mine on and off to get it to work properly but can still play the game ok:o

    Have the same problem, says updated a 27mg file what never downloads, keeps resetting. Been like it all day.

    Me too just cant log in seems to freeze/time out. From a little digging seems to be at least in the UK a Virginmedia problem, at the mo. Lets hope this gets cleared up, BTW spent 30 minutes in a queue to their customer service, gave up in the end. Is Sky any good?

    glad you said that I may have a solotion for myself.

    yep vigin media, its fine on my 3 dongle.

    When I think about everything we've been through together,

    maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,

    I'm on Virginmedia to...Tracert shows a complete drop off over 3 hops, only coming back to cross the Atlantic.
    Definitely not an Arc User.

    Same for me.

    Everything else is working fine, except STO Launcher.

    On Virgin Media 100meg line.

    yeah same the launcher times out and if i do manage to get in after a few tries and select my character, it times out after clicking play, there isn't even a loading screen.

    Swapping to US Proxy seems to have fixed it for me.
    Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...

    I managed to get on with my 3 dongle did what I wanted to do most and left the stuff I had intended to do but haven't got the time or inclination to do now.
    thought I would switch back to virgin and see if its cleared, same as before cant log in because of the launcher.

    hope someone fixes this soon.

    Virgin Media here too. Tried loading the game client directly but it just tells me connection to the account server timed out.

    Do you guys even read other posts, or do you just reply to the OP?

    Cause I mentioned a possible solution... Just need someone to confirm or deny that it works.

    I said it works for me... It may not have the same results for you, as the routes our internet signal goes may be different.

    How about EU/no proxy (depending on what you were originally using).

    A lot of us cannot even get to the options page to select a proxy. I have been stuck on loading for ages now.

    I could access the "Options" while the "Loading" was going on.

    It's the first thing that loads on top of the screen... Unless of cause...

    Is your screen white with the black "Loading" text? In that case, clearing your IE browser cache might help to get you another shot at it.

    Half of the UK is out on Virgin Media . .

    So I'm thinking that this is a larger issue than any game etc.

    Does not work on any Proxy, i have tried them all.

    Far as i can sometimes get its the character login screen, that times out when i try to join.

    Launcher slow but everything else ok (apart from the bugs) on TALK TALK.

    It's strange... I had the exact same issues as described above and the US Proxy fixed it as if nothing had been going on.

    That options isn't working in the UK. I get past the white and black loading text. The full UI loads but the buttons do not do anything. Well that's not 100% true after trying for hours I managed to get into the options once. Changing the proxy has not fixed anything and now I cannot get in the options to switch back.
