  Yep.... SNAFU.... Right after weekly maintenance as expected. Tried changing toons to run one last CE and can't log in.

  I can confirm that I have been seeing this as well for the past few minutes on both the Star Trek Online and Champions Online launchers after opening them up from Arc.

  Same issue here logged in and went to switch toons and now unable to authenticate: Connection to the account server timed out messages.

  Same here, and I live 2 hours distance driving to where the servers are so it's not a distance problem. My connection just bounces from my home->New Britain, CT->Hartford, CT->New York City->Boston.

  Been seeing drops to the login screen on changing maps with an error about not being able to contact the login server for a few days, and on Tribble it's almost constant. There's obviously an issue in that cluster, and it looks like they crashed altogether now.

  I have the same trouble trying to log into the game. It worked fine yesterday.

  At least PWE admits there's a problem. From their Twitter feed:
  

  We had a minor hiccup with our Account Server. It should be back up and stable in a little bit. Looks like we didn't clear out every tribble

  
  Of course, that doesn't help us finish the CE event today....
