Heh. Thanks for reminding me of a bit of, shall we say, creative communication seen in Top Gun... which, admittedly, would take a bit of work to choreograph here.
Now, just how 'epic' this image is can be debated; I think it's at least 'badass'...
Clipping issues aside, it turns out that the Kobali pauldrons and Vaadwaur longcoat make a good approximation of the Eurocorp agents' regalia from Syndicate Wars (intro).
Add the Kobali boots to it. I have done the same (minus the shoulder pads) with my Reman and he looks like an a'kicker.

Thanks; I'll have to try that. It is, by the way, a pity that we don't have the half-balaclava (seen here in the promo art for the 2012 game).
And also a shame the Kobali regalia doesn't include optional chest armor (which would really complete the psuedo-samurai look one could argue the existing segments are going for).
These are a few I had forgotten about in my screenshot library.
I may as well dust these beauties off.
This one is from the Summer Event some time back. If you look at the skybox just right, you can get everything, including your character out of the way for some awesome night sky pictures.
"Critics who say that the optimistic utopia Star Trek depicted is now outmoded forget the cultural context that gave birth to it: Star Trek was not a manifestation of optimism when optimism was easy. Star Trek declared a hope for a future that nobody stuck in the present could believe in. For all our struggles today, we haven’t outgrown the need for stories like Star Trek. We need tales of optimism, of heroes, of courage and goodness now as much as we’ve ever needed them." -Thomas Marrone
A normie goes "Oh, what's this?"
An otaku goes "UwU, what's this?"
A furry goes "OwO, what's this?"
A werewolf goes "Awoo, what's this?"
"It's nothing personal, I just don't feel like I've gotten to know a person until I've sniffed their crotch." "We said 'no' to Mr. Curiosity. We're not home. Curiosity is not welcome, it is not to be invited in. Curiosity...is bad. It gets you in trouble, it gets you killed, and more importantly...it makes you poor!"
Passion and Serenity are one.
I gain power by understanding both.

that kinda looks like a marine CMC power suit from starcraft, only a bit less clunky...i seriously hope they make a player-obtainable version of that
With that weapon looking like an energy mace, the first thing that came to mind in my case was WH40K... but yes, that would be a good thing. I was thinking it'd follow the Omega regalia logic (the basic form, seen in mcakomx' group shot, comes from a rep project or maybe one of the new missions, with the extra bits and bobs seen in the shot you point out being earned by completing BotS on the highest difficulty with all optionals.
As for the weapon, assuming it is indeed a sort of energy mace... yes, that wouldn't be unwelcome, either.

Okay, time to move on...
I'm normally not a huge fan of the Fed command designs, but these shots make it look f&@#ing AMAZING.
Your father was captain of a starship for twelve minutes. He saved 800 lives, including your mother's, and yours.
I dare you to do better.

It's basically just a raw screenie, cropped with brightness turned up a bit.
Took this screenshot a while ago, that was then later modified by 3D space artist Hameed to be the next official wallpaper for the 1st fleet...

The Chimera is a really great looking ship....from the right angle....
Too bad it's underbelly sticks out like a sore thumb, that really ruins it's looks.

The french touch !
That's such an iconic shot.
Mmm, quite. The Odyssey flash525 commented on is pretty appropriate, too.
Infinite possibilities have implications that could not be completely understood if you turned this entire universe into a giant supercomputer.
Whoa, Heralds are badass.
