20% Ship Sale 2/26-3/2

From now until 10AM PST on Monday, March 2nd, 2015, we are having a 20% ship sale. Enjoy not just a discount on all ships, but fleet modules and ship upgrade tokens as well! Have you been eyeing a new ship or ship bundle in the C-store? Now is the time to grab the ship you've always dreamt of commanding!

  • All ships in the C-Store are 20% off excluding Command ships.
  • All Command ships in the C-Store are 15% off
  • Starship Upgrade Requisitions and Fleet Ship Modules are 20% off
  • All T5 ships purchased during this sale also include one (1) free Starship Upgrade Requisition
    • Each Tier 5 ship purchased will grant one (1) free Starship Upgrade Requisition
      • The Claim for this Ship Upgrade Requisition will appear in the Promotions tab of the C-Store.
      • If you purchase multiple ships, you will need to claim each one individually from this tab.
    • This promotional Starship Upgrade Requisition is bound to account and not reclaimable.
    • Tier 5 Ship Bundles will grant an equal number of Ship Upgrade Requisitions as there are upgradable ships.
      • The Andorian Escort Bundle will provide three (3) Ship Upgrade Requisitions, one per upgradable ship.
      • The Galaxy Bundle has three (3) ships but only two of them are upgradable, so this bundle will provide two (2) Ship Upgrade Requisitions.
  • All ship bundles are 20% off with the exception of the following:
    • Enterprise Era Pack
    • Federation Starter Pack
    • The Original Series Pack
    • Deep Space Nine Pack
    • Legacy of Romulus Legacy Pack
    • Legacy of Romulus Starter Pack
    • Delta Operations Pack

    Correction: That's how it should have been done months ago. I guess the sales for upgrade tokens have slumped enough that they can give them away now.

    And am I seeing this right, that the Command ships, while not getting the 20% discount are on sale so soon after going live?

    I do need to get my eyes checked (no joking, my appointment is next week) so I just want to be sure I'm actually seeing this correctly.

    15% may not be 20%, but that they are going on sale at ALL gets my inner conspiracy nut amped up. Not enough for him to actually say anything right now, but I can hear him in there, mumbling, writing on the walls and trying to piece things together.

    They are 15% off and that matches the discount they had during their opening weekend when the 15% Charge Bonus was running.

    And a good idea about upgrade tokens with Tier 5 ships. Pity I probably have all Tier 5 ships I ever wanted...
    TOIVA, Toi Vaxx, Toia Vix, Toveg, T'vritha, To Vrax: Bring in the Allegiance class.
    Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider.
    Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.

    Don't make ARC mandatory! Keep it optional only!

    Yeah on sale already. Never seen the new shinies go on sale this quick... :confused:

    Edit: The only T5 I don't have are the D'Kyr and one of the Andorian ships. Does the D'Kyr come with the token as well?
    If you've come to the forums to complain about the AFK system, it's known to be bugged at the moment.

    Great sale! Just a question.
    Does the dyson 9 pack include 9 upgrade tokens? Its not included in the list of exceptions, but is still a large pack of ships, and not very popular, so could have just been skipped over or something.

    Their exception is the first and second bullet points...

    As one of the players who already bought a lot of t5 ships, i have to say i'm pretty pissed about this "free upgrade token" feature now.

    not only that u get the ships now for a lower price u also receiving a "bonus" of 560 zen for the token for free.

    srsly, this is the best way to TRIBBLE of players and prevent from further buying something out of the store .. just because you are not sure if the ship gets sold again with a huge sale bonus.

    I asked purely because of the console issue, I've seen it happen before.

    OK, thanks for the clarification, just confusing since that part contradicts the later part about the packs (not individual ships). :)

    probably would've been better if they included a free upgrade ship token for any reclaim of T5 ships (once per ship) for those who already bought T5 ships

    While I'm grateful for any discount, I can't help feel disappointed that I'd bought the command mega bundle just a few hours before this unexpected sale began. I'd equipped one toon with a Presidio, ran a sector alert and cleared a couple of zones in the Voth space arena then went to bed, waking up to this just six hours later. If it'd been an older bundle or class of ship I'd purchased, then I'd have no qualms, but with the command ships being so new there was no way I'd expect them to be discounted so soon.

    Very cool on the T5U upgrades, but I can't say I'm pleased to see the Command ships on sale so soon. That's not cool at all.

    Well, I've been meaning to unlock the Leech-er, Vandal, seems a good opportunity to do so. (And upgrade tokens for the T5s is nice during the sale - probably going to do some shopping)

    The free upgrade token was found in my "Promotions" spot, for anyone who has problems finding it...

    With everyone who just bought the command ships before the sale they did this with the intel ships as well. Did everyone have collective amnesia about it? Also unless you are brand new to the game and didn't know of ship sales (which is understandable) is one thing but anyone else not knowing is just silly.

    Wow, I knew a ship sale would happen right after I finally broke down and bought a T6 ship (Phantom for the record). I didn't expect the salt in the wound of newly purchased T5s getting free upgrades.

    My Kumaris, Oddys, and Vestas will stay parked in the bone yard.
    This is my Risian Corvette. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

    They've never had sales on ships that were just released a couple weeks before the sale.

    I don't recall the intel ships being on sale a week after they came out.
