Tray lag not fixed.
Rare abilities still not in game.
Marks dilithium soon and stealthly nerfed.
gg, Cryptic
My BOs are still being removed from their stations on zoning, and my ship has a broken weapon slot. I wish Cryptic was able to fix the broken stuff as quickly as they nerf everything. smh...
In all the time i am playing Online Games, you are the first Company that managed to make me not wanting to play your "game".
I am really not often voicing my opinion cause i am usually able to withstand good and bad changes to a game to a certain degree, cause there are often deeper reasons behind it.
But enough is enough, this was pretty much the last straw that broke the camels back.
You guys can lie all you like but the fact is that the dilithium event has been going on multiple times and the rep mark turn-ins gave the bonus, changing this now is a deliberate nerf to hurt your playerbase.
Before everybody calls stealth nerf.... maybe its a bug? Did anybody already made a bug report about this both ingame and in the forums? Can't login right now myself, will check later this evening though.
In case it is a bug, they should however make next weekend another dil weekend, to compensate for whatever we will be loosing.
And off the subject, I want those 50k for reputation finishing, instead of the 32k xD.
Some are saying this is just a simple mistake made by someone who wrote this or that for the STO community. Maybe so, but refusing to honour the promise made - that's pure, deliberate, vicious malice.
We played in good faith expecting the advertised reward. What we get instead is betrayal and historical revisionism. Scummy beyond belief!
There are no excuses for this. There is only the simple, obvious fact that no one can miss - we are being treated like ****.
Mistakes get made. We know this, most of us will make allowances.
Unpopular decisions get made. We know this too. (Some of us feel we know this very well....)
However... the business about editing the announcement after the fact - well, that was not well handled. A mistake was made, fair enough. The proper thing to do, then, would have been to add a correction, clearly stating what was said and what should have been said instead. Anything else - like, editing the announcement with no other comment - looks like acting in bad faith. It may not have been meant that way, but that's what it looks like.
And, since this is an unpopular decision... even the appearance of bad faith is something to be avoided.
Keep up the great work Cryptic! Your missteps never upset me...they only amuse me....and they seem to be getting better!
On the heels of another recent failed update...in which the forums lit up like a Christmas tree...you manage to make the most ill timed decision you could make...the mark to dilithium nerf...
Not only do members of your development and technology team seem to consistently upset players ...but now...your marketing team? Could this decision have been made at a worse time!?
WTF are you guys thinking!?
This level of marketing ineptitude is remarkable!
Again ...keep it up guys! Because just when you think things couldn't get any worse...

Best post I've seen all day.
Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...
There's just no logic to it. Why the constant removal of sources when these events roll around? Why even bother having it in the first place if you've just removed one of the primary ways people were planning on using it? What's the point?
You say you aren't trying to kill the game, but every action you take says you are. Prove to us that you are not trying to kill the game, please? There's no way you guys could have thought the players wouldn't notice and accept this mess, is there?
False advertising, false promises and stealth nerfs; its the Cryptic way.
Wake up Cryptic!
This is the problem and editing after the fact makes it look underhanded. Well played Cryptic. You continue to impress us with your PR department, and I'm sure it's only going to get better.
You're know what even funnier? Last night, I finally came to an important realization, that alting is dead and that I've been wasting my time doing the 20 hr R and D projects across my 9 alts. I give up!! I cannot take it anymore so I will be doing R and D projects on 2 characters from now on because the grind isn't worth it anymore. This news today about the nerf to the t5 rep dilithium reward on bonus weekends was just icing on the TRIBBLE cake. I will also invariably lose thousands of dilithium. Well, I guess this is the thanks we get for playing the game and investing time and money into it.
I am literally - no, not figuratively - literally unable to comprehend what sort of convoluted thought process occurred in the horrifically bizarre expanse that is the mind of whoever thought this was a good idea.
I have but one question, having given up my quest to understand the utter madness that Cryptic seems to believe is reason:
Smirk, Borticus, Trendy, and to all other staff of Cryptic.
You do realise Smirk and Trendy have bugger all to do with the decisions and dont work for Cryptic right ?
Anyway as for their decision, its insane, and the logic in the "reasons" make no sense, stopping the bonus isnt going to make the marks helpful all the time, it will just mean people dont bother doing half the content anymore. And to compound the matter after posting the wrong information originally they expect an extended period to help... still doesnt make any difference to that pile of marks that are going to get waay less than I expected because they gave zero warning.

More things like the FPS problem ongoing for almost a year, the chat/inventory/bank window auto resize issue.

Have fun with this sinking ship.
its not a bug read posting #6 here > http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showpost.php?p=22124461&postcount=6
When I think about everything we've been through together,
maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,
and if that journey takes a little longer,
so we can do something we all believe in,
I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.

Already corrected. Read the last 2 pages to see me rage in a polite way.... I guess.

I have been saving marks for weeks knowing this event was coming and they change the rules at the last minute?
They add all this TRIBBLE to the game which requires boat loads of dilithium and then continue to nerf away at all sources of gaining dilithium.
This is yet another TRIBBLE move by a TRIBBLE company.
This move is horse #$%^.
