Dyson Ships broken

Dyson Ships Commander abilities not working regardless of what ability is selected. It doesn't even show up as an option to use. Especially frustrating since the only other option for Romulan able to compare to the dysons for Science Captains is the Fleet Ha'nom, which I do not have.

-At very least, it effects the three C-Store Dyson Ships for Romulan. It potentially effects ALL Dyson Ships, I'm unsure as I only have the Romulan C-Store ones.
-Switching into and out of Tactical Mode doesn't fix it.
-Attempting to train an Officer in a different Ability doesn't fix it, the newly trained Ability still cannot be slotted.
-Trying to modify the Abilities under the Stations tab doesn't fix it.
-Trying to modify the Abilities under the Skills tab doesn't fix it.
-Training new Officers to replace the old ones doesn't fix it.
-Selecting a different ship and then switching back to the Dyson Ship doesn't fix it.
-Exiting the game and "Force Verifying" the files in the launcher doesn't fix it.

All of this points to the problem being rooted in the ship itself, not Bridge Officers or Skills.

Essentially, I have a glorified digital paperweight without Commander Abilities. Seriously, this needs to be a priority fix.

    I must agree. I went through the issue of rebuilding my BOFFs abilities and still nothing.

    Very agitating.

    Fortunately Dust to Dust didn't need them :cool:

    I am having the same problem :confused: im curious did you guys claim yours a year late and just get yours recently??? I just got mine

    edit: ok i logged on a federation main who got the dyson on time during last years event and it not working for him either so that has nothing to do with it, there borked on all characters

    I have Nelen for Science Command slot he has Gravity Well III and it shows on the Stations page but not found in Available Skills Menu

    In Tactical mode, you gain Commander tac ability but lose Commander sci ability

    Same bug here. Just got it today after waiting a YEAR (military deployment) to finish amassing Qmendations.

    Nice to know I wasn't the only one on that train, though.

    It raises an interesting question though.

    The science mode is the default in this ship. What if both the science and the tactical are "active" things. So somehow it got stuck with both tactical and science modes off?

    In any event looks like my Romulan won't be flying any major combat missions until next week.

    In the new patch the Dyson just loses both Commander powers.
    This is my Risian Corvette. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

    After a year I got a new ship...and..

    Yep...same here, commander tactical and science skills won't show up.

    Also, is it intended that Sensor Analysis doesn't work on tactical mode? :confused:

    Yes, Sensor Analysis does not work in Tactical Mode. Working as intended. One of the reasons I don't use the ship's Tactical mode a whole lot.

    Yeah in Tactical Mode the ship is basically an escort, the secondary deflector is closed and the ship's extra cannons come out. So no Sensor Analysis.

    same here, but weird the console of the boff commander shows 5 spaces but only 3 active

    This is correct; the proton DHCs still work, but the commander rank abilities in BOTH modes do not appear on the main screen, but are clearly available under stations/skills for each officer.

    Well this probably isn;t going to get fixed anytime soon considering they don't know this thread exists :P

    but oh well, guess that 50 dollar zen purchase was a bad move on my part x.x

    In the new patch the Dyson just loses both Commander powers.

    My Commander power for my Sci BOff slot is GWIII. :mad: Now I'm pi$$ed. This is like flying a T4 with the loss of one of my best abilities.

    And something else...the Wiki has gone nuts 'cause the playable starship page (I just went to look at) has about a hundred simultaneous listings for Solanae Dyson Science Destroyers. Coincidence?

    Commander tactical and science skills no longer work, either mode.

    Sensor Analysis is unavailable in all modes.

    Add me to the list of folks with no Commander level Tactical or Sci abilities. Flying the Klingon Dyson freebie from last year, if that matters at all.

    EVERY single Dyson-Ship have actualy this problem. Either if FED, KDF or ROM. The Commanders (Tac or Sci) are showen with 5 (!) Abilities, but only 3 are active, the other 2 are just empty boxes. Both Commander-Stations have only Lt. Commander-Abilities.

    I can confirm that all KDF/FED/ROM Dyson science ships have the broken Boff problem since last patch... :(

    The dyson KDF is one of the best looking vessel for this side and it make me angry to not be able to use it at its full power, especially since my Ferasan is now my main character in this game.:mad:

    Same issues as the rest. Is it just me, or shouldn't there be a priority on fixing a game breaking glitch on a ZEN SHIP? Then again, who really needs two top-level abilities? Completely unacceptable.

    I have the same problem, but one step further. None of the Boffs i had on my crew can be trained back up to the Commander rank they were at previous to patch. (Romulan) they are all stuck at subcommander. I bought every possible skill for my sci officer. the Promote button is still grey'd out.

    Lvl 60 Science toon...so i am definitely higher level than they are.

    It's not on tribble patch notes. That doesn't mean anything, but I wouldn't expect it fixed tomorrow unless it's just not been mentioned in the notes.

    same here. I spent 10k Zen for the whole pack (well I think -20%, but still a lot) and can'T use the ships right now.
    Now - I bought this ship as I play mainly KDF and Roms and there isn't many sci ships for either Rom or KDF. I have the Ha'nom - which can't be upgraded to T5U (the fleet version can, but we only have a T4 shipyard) and the Varanus. So 3 of my captains have to fly other ships than the one they wanted to. Thx Cryptic!!!
    18 characters
    KDF: 2 tacs, 2 engs, 3 scis
    KDF Roms: 3 tacs, 1 eng, 1 scis
    FED: 2 tacs, 1 eng, 2 scis
    TOS: 1 tac
    all on T5 rep (up to temporal)
    all have mastered Intel tree (and some more specs Points)
    highest DPS: 60.982

    first off i am sorry for posting here as i had no choice i got no right to make a new thread i can only reply and this is my first time doing something on a forum so sorry for mistakes

    My Phantom Intel has NO Precise weapon systems, Tactical Manevyering, Enhanced Weapons systems and Devastating weaponry i got the ship Monday 2nd feb i have look everywhere to find those missing systems i can not find it, my other ships have it . AND yes i have look in my Availabe skill tray to look for them i have put a picture for proof please fix this has i give you company money and the ship is broken i can not use it well
    .
