We here at SSO pride ourselves on how we treat our members, we treat them like family, best friends, brothers, and sisters.
We care about that a great deal, and it really is a terrible thing when after doing our all to make members feel welcome we are betrayed by one of those members.

It saddens me to say that one of our most trusted members, @wdbittle2012 who had been given command of our Klink fleet, who had been trusted as a senior admin in game and on our forums, betrayed said trust by looting our klink bank for hundreds of millions in matts and EC.
He recruited for us, he helped us grow, then for no reason other than greed betrayed that trust.
I do use his @handle here because he posted on these very forums, he was a member of our family, and he betrayed all that for some EC.
If you care about your fleet, your friends, your little family in STO, keep your eye out for people like this. He gained all our trust, he was someone I would call a close friend in game, and it saddens us all this is how it turned out.
I hope the Mods do not remove this post, as they can see he posted here and in our Klink recruitment thread, he was someone I would have never expected to do something like this, he was someone I called friend.
What does a fleet do after its been financialy taken advantage of by one of its most trusted members? (see above post)

Does it make sweeping alterations in the way it treats its members?
We don't because we will always treat our members like family, friends, brothers and sisters.
We will never change that because one sad lowly ex member took advantage of our trust, we move on, we grow, we maintain our friendships because that's what makes us strong.

Hello i would like to join this fleet, im a new player. Currently lvl17 humans male tactical officer. I'm 35 years old and would describe myself as a light rp guy. Overall I'm a noob but maybe you would consider. I can't pm anyone ingame since I started this account 4 or 3 days ago.
I have experience in a lot of mmo, to name a few; ryzom, eve and a little bit of wow. :cool:
