Even with Delta Rising, Player Vs. Player content is still needing a good deal of work. Can you share any details as to what players can expect from a possible PvP update?
STEPHEN - As we plan our releases throughout the year, we look at systems that need improvement, as you mentioned in a previous question, and slot them into our schedule. There are a variety of systems that we would like to come back and improve after five years, and PvP is definitely part of the discussion. While it hasnt made it to the top of the list quite yet, we regularly consider it for our updates and look forward to the opportunity to make the improvements the community wants.
At least it is part of the discussion...
Dear Devs btw...the opportunity to make the improvements had been doing this in
any past season. Hell, even now, it might be too late anyway

Total meaningless bull****. That guy should be white house press secretary. :P In any case season 10.5 is going to be doff system revamp in case you all haven't figured this out yet. The contest. Mentions in patch notes of ultra and epic quality doffs. The fact that nobody does the doff system anymore just like crafting was. The endgame for each doff systems track is more fleet marks. The doff system needs a heavy grind/reward dilithium sink aspect to match the rest of the game economy.
SEASON 10.5 RETURN OF THE DOFFS!
STEPHEN - In general we like to allow our community team to handle official, outward facing communication in order to maintain a messaging and communication standard. In special or atypical situations, such as with the Tau Dewa Patrols, we may feel the need to provide an official response directly from the development team. This isnt necessarily a change of policy but more of a flexibility in protocol on our end that allows us to provide the best possible messaging given any situation. In regards to locking out the Tau Dewa maps, we have historically turned off content, stores, even the exchange in the event of a major bug or unexpected behavior. This isnt a course of action we take lightly, but it is an option we evaluate on a case by case basis.
Except this wasn't a ****ing bug you *******s simply didn't like people not grinding in the delta quadrant. Craptic go **** yourselves if you think any smart player is buying into your bull****.
Since the Devs prefer to pick something that is perfectly fine and turn it into a grind and dil sink its going to be more like: SEASON 10.5 DOWNFALL OF THE DOFFS!
They considered PvP? Really?
Is that why Ionic Turbulence mercilessly chases down players and disables them, leaving them defenseless, while most mobs shrug it off?
Or is that why Surgical Strikes was clearly designed with mobs with hundreds of thousands/millions of HP in mind, and as such, wipes out players so quickly that there isn't even time to react?
Or maybe that's why they've increased the lethality of MK XIV even more, so that anyone using Pre-DR gear doesn't stand a chance?
They've bull**** and flat out lied before, but this is next level delusion.
so there will be gold quality tech doffs that each lower cool downs ~15% each then? wonder what kind of epic grind or pay wall those will be behind. probably 1% chance to drop in a 1k zen c store pack only

the sad part is if they fixed the above TRIBBLE you mentioned ..they could probably hold us off for a another year or 2 as long as they don't release anymore crazy ........................nm i forgot who we were talking about
it shouldn't need to be said, but here it is
cryptic is the only one who can break that cycle
i think a lot of what ruined the game with DR is the metrics of all the non pvpers getting bored between seasons, only to return when there's new content and a new grind, but leave again after its done. we pvpers never got bored like that, we pvp, we correctly do the grind, and then correctly use the result of the grind in the only real, renewable end game, pvp.
seems like the obvious, to even the most underdeveloped of children, solution to this problem, is to bend over backward promoting, enhancing, balancing and focusing major dev attention on pvp. if there was leaderboard and gear score match making, and a whole lot of players, no one would ever experience a miss match, no mater the level of skill.
in the long run, that would have been the least work, its content that creates itself. but no, the devs are the biggest care bears of all, so to them the metrics say create a grind you could never complete unless your a super neet, create an upgrade system that only a whale could participate in, and increase the difficulty level so you need both filled out for it to be mathematically possible do advanced and elite. also only increase hitpoints and resistance and call it difficulty, because thats our level of incompetence.
god i hope this game just crashes and burns in less then a year from this, that is the just end to this, and hopefully a more potent lessen then SWG was. i hope slightly more that they act in time to save it, by undoing most of the damage they did with DR, i used to have a lot of fun playing this game.
We got shuttle queues last year. Remember? All those weeks and months of epic Shuttle PvP that was perfectly balanced and had hundreds playing every hour.

The only actual thing wrong with the bloody thing was the click consoles/called in ships not scaling to shuttle class.
Had they just fixed that, i loved it otherwise, it was crazy fun.
