...I am hopeful that they're going to be brought into a future Season as an enemy.
It was such a tease when we got Temporal Science Vessels and Mobius Temporal Destroyers and I really thought it was on the horizon, especially bringing in the Delta Quadrant...going up against a Kremin Weapon Ship in either a Red Alert, a new PvE or an episode, etc.
All of their vessels firing Chroniton Flux Torpedoes that pass through any shields and cause kinetic damage...Brace For Impact can help, but every ship will really need a Temporal Core, which maybe the Temporal Ships could get a bonus or come with a special one.
It's main weapon acts the same as the Borg Mothership...
And if we could get a Temporal Carrier...not with pets that can use Temporal Backstep and the Manheim Device, but just release cool looking Aeons.
The story could go that the Kremin are launching a full scale attack on the galaxy, to destroy every other species and be in total control.
The Krenim were mentioned as having been conquered by the Vaadwaur and sent into exile as refugees. If we see them, it will almost have to be a time travel store.
They did a poll some time ago about what enemies we would like to fight in the DQ. Krenim won.
So they decided to nuke them and they don't even appear at all in DR.
Maybe they'll come back through the use of a temporal dreadnought, and they'll try to fix the situation.
ok, let me get this strait. the Krenim get BTFO, are on the run, have lost everything and have nothing to lose. AND they also have the tech to alter history, to change things in their favor.
gee, i wonder what going to happen in the near future regarding the game story line?
they weren't so much excluded from DR, as they were given a motive for their upcoming actions. you can bet there's going to be a whole season about it.

Remember the Krenim temporal ship was itself erased from time. So they don't actually have it. Unless Annorax was able to build it/someone finished his research as we saw him working on timeline stuff at the very end in the new timeline.

a rehash of voyager is not what we need, that shows no creativity in the cryptic camp and really little point in paying them if thats all they got, what they do is their business, but if recent financial details has shown anything is that this years failures will have to be picked apart and business as usual clearly had a negative effect, if it effected cryptic itself and their operations remains to be seen. beyond the usual common sense thoughts about all that, as for the game design.
since its known the krenim were wiped out and almost eradicated by the vaadwuar, i cant see any room to expand on them from any point beyond a rehash. i think there are better things to go after then time travel, again, like some groundhog day. i wouldnt be surprised however is krenim ships made their way into lock boxes or a minor role in sto with a few ships for some diplomatic purpose but nothing that would have any sort of impact on the game.
there is still a chunk of storyline with regards to the voth still unexplained, and from what i know the dev team isnt finished on the delta project of theirs yet.
T6 Miranda Hero Ship FTW. Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.

If they're going to do anything with them it will likely be this...I mean if they had no reason to want to alter the future then why would we have a reason fight them?
Can't have a honest conversation because of a white knight with power
Well from what I remember they only had that one ship that altered time, at the end he was back to working on that very ship before putting it aside to spend time with his wife, they may never have completed it after the time reset.

If the Krenim are given the reason to reinvent that stuff, Cryptic will make it happen. It's not even totally implausible.
And I guess we all know that the story will take that direction at some point.

Imagine the nuclear weapons program would have been stopped because WW2 ended sooner.
After 100 years of peace and not needing nuclear weapons, aliens attack the Earth.
Don't you think the most advanced nations would be able to put together a nuclear weapon? The know how is there, the tech is there.
The Krenim only lacked the will after the timeline reset, and the Vaadwaur made sure they are willing now.
1 Krenim was doing research into time travel. There is no supporting evidence that it was anything else than 1 Krenim's project. There's also no evidence that the scientist in question didn't scrap the research while it was still in the theoretical stage.
At the moment he walked away from his home computer at the end of that last episode the butterfly effect set a chain of events in motion where that research was never completed.

It irritated me that at least five of the featured Delta Rising species were featured or mentioned in only one episode: Voth, Octanti, Turei, APU, and Vaadwaur; while favorites like the Krenim and the Vidiians were nowhere to be seen.

If you rewatch that episode, check out the last scene before the credits and read what Annorax was reading. They could easily build the time ship for the first time, again.

Annorax lost his primary motivation for building it though.
It doesn't have to be Annorax who built it and people often have more than one motivation. Changing circumstances may not change the outcome. There's a lot of reasons that ship could come back.
There are also any number of reasons why it wouldn't. The story basically spelled it out that Annorax wanted his wife back, so that's why he built the ship.
It's all going to be speculation for either of us anyway, but read what Annorax is reading at the end of the episode.
And like I said before, changing circumstances may not change the outcome. The past changed and he has his wife now. There could be another reason for him to build the ship.
Canon said that the Kremin used deadly weapons based on temporal science...Chroniton Flux Torpedoes, the weapon ship doesn't to have seen to have been much of a push, but the idea could be!
I've said it before and I'll say it again...I think the Vidiians should have been the basis of "Caretaker". The Caretaker could have accidentally created the Phage, THAT would have been a debt that could never be repaid (when he could have just moved the Ocampa to a new planet) and Voyager would destroy the array to stop the Vidiians from TRIBBLE the galaxy of organs.
Some people are apparently having a really, really hard time grasping the fact that the whole point of the weapon was to completely delete things from the timeline. They never existed.
By deleting itself, it ensured that it literally cannot ever exist. IT'S THE WHOLE DAMN POINT. Annorax can't build the weapon again, it was self deleted from all existence. The weapon never allowed anything directly deleted to happen again regardless.
This is likely also why various temporal agencies of the future never got involved with it. The weapon is a closed loop, the problem permanently fixed itself.

THAT ship was deleted, but not Annorax and not his, or any other Kremin's ability to build another.
My best resolution to the paradox of Year of Hell would be to assume that the Krenim have some small sense (perhaps subconscious) of changes to the timeline, similar to that of El Auriens. That sense then affected Annorax at the end of the episode, and inspired him to abandon his work and to live more in the moment.

Though its unknown if all El-Aurians have that ability or just Guinan, who could have gotten this ability due to being partly in a the nexus.
Krenim -> Time travel and temporal weapon ships.
This is what it will come down to.
Another thing btw... wasn't the Krenim Imperium even larger then the Federation in its current timeline? How the hell did the Vaadwaur decimate them that quickly, even with their upgraded tech?

Or it was like 0 minutes old. If time didn't pass for them from is launch, is not old.
If that ship was deleted, what deleted it? The deletion never happened. Grandfather paradox.

True, but in STO we encounter another El Aurien with similar perceptions.
