Would be fair its true if were a player daring another player, but companys and their employes shoud keep a certain respect for customers whenever the customer are right or wrong in the mater, and most companys (not cryptic by the evidence) observe that selfcontrol and respect for their own brand.
Its really silly when we see Devs coming to say pls keep constructive in the feedback, and when someone say anything that upset them, they come and throw a "Do yourself then".
I think we are a victim of the fact inflection is lost in the internet. I did not read Taco's response and throwing it back at the person he quoted, but more of a:
"Man, if I worked there I could do awesome things!"
"Well, you know, we do have some positions availble..."
I can see where someone might take that as a "put your money where your mouth is" kind of statement on his behalf, but I personally did not take it that way.
Best answer for anyone unhappy is to put your time elsewhere. I haven't been playing except for running the race on three toons to get the free ships... I have 18 toons I could be playing but they need to see my disappointment and the only way that happens is in the precious metrics.
I have reloaded SWTOR on my computer to play that for awhile since its much less frustrating. There are a few new games coming out I'm going to play also for now and that's where my time and Xmas money are going.
Hopefully the metrics will reflect this on a widespread scale and cause some change. I've been devoted since launch but it's gotten to be irritating to play lately.
Gold Sub since March 2010
Lifetime Sub since June 2010
This is all a moot point anyway. At some point "No Man's Sky" will be released and every game that I currently play will be forgotten. Possibly forever.
When you see "TRIBBLE" in my posts, it's because I manually typed "TRIBBLE" and censored myself.
I have the feeling that Mechwarrior Online will be a more popular study object if students need examples of bad design.
Funnily enough MWO is doing much better over the last few months. A good case study really, because what happened was that PGI (the developer company) bought all rights to the game and IP license from IGP (the publisher company). Suddenly, things started getting fixed and even content that was promised and stagnated in the back burner started rolling out. To the point that I am tentatively starting to relog on it (thank you DR for the extra playtime !).
I wonder what would happen if Cryptic acquired all the rights to the game from PWE.

That would be a good day.
