Chris Robert's on SC:
"You don't have to do something again and again and again repetitive that doesn't have much challange, that's just a general good gameplay thing."
Well, a bunch of T1s (and a T2, because lolconnie) can complete post DR ISN with a moderately competent team. Can confirm, have done it. We probably could have gotten the optional aswell, if one of the Romulans hadn't suicided themselves into one of the generators early. Alas. We still emerged victorious over the evil borg tactical cube of DOOOOOOOOM with only moderate amounts of explosions. To be expected, when the most resilient ship has almost 20k health with all of a tanking engineer's buffs factored in.
In a moderately shameless plug, completing STFs in T1 ships is a thing the Star Trek Battles channel fairly routinely does.
At typing in your credit card info for all that dil needed to be the first to fly a golden p2w ship and you are partially excused because a there isn't anything else to do right now and b I know you can't help yourself but that being said get it together
didnt saw the full vid cause of limited traffic, but he wouldnt do 25k dps 1on1 against a borg ship. whoever thinks that, is pretty naive lol I can imagine the borg ships got heavy debuffed and he has very low threat. In a pug he would non stop dieing. so respect goes to the team for carrying him.
and btw, all this high dps ships are totally made for dmg dealing, they cant heal anything, and cant do any mission without a recluse pet. for playing in pugs or even episode missions they are totally useless. maybe you should say that when you post this vids, because noobs copy that builds and pug queues with it.
So, that's a story of a guy using a T1 ship in a team with 3 scimitard and a recluse. The other 3 debuff the targets like mad, and remove shield (not like the borgs have much shield anyway). So the T1 ship is free to use his HY torps on exposed and heavily debuffed hull. Which obviously lead to some nasty damage.
And suddenly he is a god for everyone ? Yeah right... I'm not saying Ryan is bad, because he is not. But I think many people could do exactly the same with the same team and the same ship. Not much skill involved by tossing a torp as soon as a shield drop.
The video is funny, but it doesn't prove anything. Except perhaps that torpedoes on debuffed hull makes big explosions. Or that some pug are bad.
The video was funny, I liked the enterprise music, made me laugh. And the part where he is OSK by a cube warp core breach. But OP present the video like a fanboy. Kinda scary.
My biggest question is, what is tweaked in the parser using dps channel settings vs the default settings?
I tend to notice bigger jumps up & down dps wise, using dps channel settings vs the default!
Wondering what exactly is changed?
The only difference I see is the DPS-Channel Settings use "Entity's Combat Time (From first to last hit)" and "Pets use combat time of owner" is active, whereas Default Settings use "Active Combat time (Dmg-Out only) and "Pets use combat time of owner" is inactive.
Those changes in combat time would obviously affect DPS considerably.

Now for some context:
At no point did the NX benefit from the 4 other players LOL. Riiight
You did that ALL BY YOURSELF. Riiiight.
You've proved your'e a decent pilot, and you've earned respect for it.
Now duplicate that with 5 NX class ships. Wait, that's cruel. You can have 4 T2 ships as support.
Then I'll truly be impressed.
I wonder what a squad of T1's could pull off...
"You don't have to do something again and again and again repetitive that doesn't have much challange, that's just a general good gameplay thing."
That's ridiculous. Great vid.
Ok, this is like a NUKE for a lot of ppl EPIC!
We tried doing the old elites in T1's. ISE and CSE were doable, but intensely painful to make the optional. KASE wasn't possible with the optional.
With T1's - we didn't have scimitars spamming APB.
If they cloned Ryan 5x, maybe it could be
I dont think the scims used beta, the recluse's frigates did. But either way the point is not Ryan's damage, it's that he wasn't in last place.
Also, , sarcasm, was I reading things right: you had some random puggers in there with three of you guys on the first two runs?
He did 25k DPS on that last run in a T1 ship with 3 total weapon stations?
I simply can't believe it.. I don't see how what I just saw is even possible.
A guy in an NX just out DPS'ed most Scimitar Builds.
That guy is the best STO player of all time. Absolutely insane.
I very much enjoyed watching this though, and the fact that my comment was used to promote the idea of making this video. Cheers
Yes there was a random in the first run, i'm not sure about the second run.
3 torps... 3 torpedoes...
If I hadn't seen the video, I would never have believed it.
I'm still in shock. lol
That's awesome = ^.^ =
That is the amazing part
oh wait, someone beat me to it.
Yes. Yes.
Let's see what five identically equipped T1s can do.
NX SQUAD, ASSEMBLE!

Clearly there's no such thing as skill, a Tier 1 Lieutenant ship in ISA is obviously "pay to win".
Obviously there is always some TRIBBLE willing to bring in a Recluse or everything is failed.
now all peps see ur equipment, so they can try it - gl & hf
btw: this is better than Suggest -A-Build for our STO Livestreams!
ps: nice music in background!
future suggestion: like in first run, get pug to team to see their comment - that's funny.

Praetor of the -RTS- Romulan Tal Shiar fleet!
