The worst space content awards about 100x the experience that the best ground content does, this is obviously not correct, please remove xp from any player who has exploited space based xp.
The Voth BZ pays out dil about 10x faster than any other content in game, this is obviously not correct, please remove any dil acquired by players exploiting the battlezone.
You do realize how poor of an argument this is, right? In a game with a well known positive based on the fact that leveling characters is extreme quick?
Celebrity does not make someone above the rules, no matter how much skill or how many friends they might have. Honest rules are the kind that apply to everyone equally.
Yeah, I don't care if the guy was the top player of them all. No one is above the rules, and if he thinks that leveling 17 times the norm is something he should be allowed to do, then he's not really a 'top player' to me.
Mal (if that's who we're talking about; and I think it is) is generally considered the Nr. 1 player of this game. If he goes, best take heed.
I don't care Jesus Christ, Buddha, and Mohammed returned to Earth together to start an STO fleet. In the game, no player is more important than any other.
About the same amount of time it will take them to release the next batch of episodes....and another 2 or 3 specialisation trees. You see the pattern yet?
Cheers!
Also add the R&D school grind to it...what an epiphany...will take only 365 days to complete..see the pattern by all means. Just hope is not the new norm or I will pull the dooom thread again
You're a liar. There is no way you're looking at every claim and determining they were on "those maps".
You're calling me an exploiter when all I did was play the damn game.
And to all the sycophants thanking this guy for bending far more than 300 people over and stealing progress? I hope this happens to you and you get no help
I don't care Jesus Christ, Buddha, and Mohammed returned to Earth together to start an STO fleet. In the game, no player is more important than any other.
I would love to see the criteria to be met to be called the Number 1 player in the game.
Is there some kind of judging panel I was not aware of?

No. I think they took levels away from anyone who did grinding on Elite because the Elite XP was unintended.
Those who leveled at 17x the level intended likely lost more than you did, or were supposed to.
Leveling faster on Elite was unintended. This was a bug.
It appears that grinding a single group of enemies combat on Elite (perhaps with or without level matching) was considered an exploit and received a slap on the wrist.
300 players engaged in more behavior than just grinding on Elite. Between Skillpoint boosters, level matching, grinding, and what would appear to be other undisclosed exploits, they achieved an XP gain 17x what a player on Normal received for the same time investment. These players would seem to have faced a full rollback, a ban, or should expect further action.
They're not going to give you any free XP Boosters for being a cheerleader.
Not cheaters but cmon. If you were getting 1400 xp per mob how could you think that was right. No mobs have EVER given that much xp. So those that went WHOO HOO and ground out 50 points were using something that was obviously not intended are surprised when rollbacks occurred. Happens all the time in MMO's.
each run of tau dewa i did was around 10000 exp for the entire patrol thats on a 5 man team so about 300 exp per kill....
LOL you must have been lived in an alternate parallel universe...my recollection was totally different. Where's Q to bring me back to the real world...perhaps this is just a bad Q's nightmare and when I wake up I will have the XP counter the same as it was on 10/22 1159pm :D:D
Huh? I was also replying to the other guy reminiscing about the Borg not adapting and calling in reinforcements instead..
Mal (if that's who we're talking about; and I think it is) is generally considered the Nr. 1 player of this game. If he goes, best take heed.
How is this even provable?
Your pain runs deep.
Let us explore it... together. Each man hides a secret pain. It must be exposed and reckoned with. It must be dragged from the darkness and forced into the light. Share your pain. Share your pain with me... and gain strength from the sharing.
Please keep it CLEAN guys...Dont let them close this thread. Devs and community managers just doing their job. Take it to the big honcho (Mr EP)...but keep it civil so they can collect responses.
The fact that you, mr Stephen, are deflecting the responsibility onto the players, labeling anyone who lost points an exploiter when it's pretty apparent to those who actually have brains that many more are affected who are innocent, and are now creating a rift between players who did no exploiting and the suck up brigade of sychophants who are berating them for having justified concern...
... Makes you the most unpleasant person in a leadership role I have quite possibly ever dealt with and it makes me question your qualifications to be doing the (poor) job you are doing.
Congratation you've just created a rift in the community cause you can't own your mistakes or even acknowledge that there might be bugs. Entirely reprehensible and I truly hope it backfires.
No idea who that person is, and what makes them number one anyway?
Beats me, I have been around since the dawn of this game and never heard of a ranked No. 1 Player. Only thing I heard about are the top fleets in popularity & some fleets for having their reputation precede them due to Nefarious reasons, They who shall not be named.

And how or why would anyone be the "number one" player in sto? This is no ranking system WHAT SO EVER.
So he can go hang out with Mayor MC Cheese and the Fry Guys and I still would not know who the best STO player in the group was.....
First, I'm kinda disappointed, but oh well move on and learn.
Second. I'm lmao at all the players that be like, ERMAHGAWD I LOST SPEC POINTS AND I DIDN'T FARM TAU DEWA. Well guess what, looks like you did. lolzies
my biggest issue is that i barely logged on in the first 4 days of Delta Rising my login times on the servers will confirm this what happened then was I heard in my Lfeet they were doing leveling runs so i joined after getting around 20 levels so 50-60+10 i started doing DR missions and occasionally heloing fleetmates who were asking for help leveling. Yet I am an Exploiter? i lost around 10 spec points and 2 of my kits are now locked until i can grind out 5 levels.

See, none of what you're saying make any sense. Of course you're supposed to level faster on Elite! Doh! It's Elite, aka considerably harder! Ergo, higher rewards!
So, was my 'exploit' playing on Elite?! And there I was, half-way proud of myself, for not taking the easy road, but going all tough on Elite! Little did I know I would be severely penalized for doing so, later on.

This is most certainly something I would like to see more of.
Ya know he plays as an Engineer. Getting him to stay dead is a PAIN.
Please do provide an official channel/person for players who feel they were impacted unfairly to send their bug reports to.
I know askray posted the usual links, I mean someone who knows what happened and where to send these reports.
Yes because getting more Rewards for doing something harder is witchcraft .... ROFL ... you serious ...
I wanna know too...
It's driving me nuts... what guidelines have been set, in order to make someone, or consider someone "Numero Uno"?
He's an idiot so yeah, I'm sure he is being serious.
