I agree.. just do the roll back, get us working and fix your code on test servers... not fix code on the fly on production servers... who works like this!!! seriously!

it all started when people starting coding with bloatware.
I don't know what will get me drunk quicker, taking a drink every time Trevor responds to questions with non-answers or every time I see the word rollback in this thread.
Every time I see the word rollback it reminds me of the People of Walmart music video...
...and how it applies to online gaming. I'd rather chuckle over the song, though. :P
With each passing day I wonder if I stepped into an alternate reality. The Cubs win the world series. Donald Trump is President. Britain leaves the EU. STO gets a dedicated PvP season. Engineers are "out of control" in STO.
Sooooo.... it safe to say this launch has been an epic fail yet?
eh - as far as "expansion launches" go this seemed pretty painless (until now).....Christ LoR, I think it was a smooth day (like literally 24 hrs.) before I could even log in...let alone do anything...
TBH I was kinda waiting for something like this - this launch seemed *to* smooth....XD
at work tomorrow... when we sit down for our network operations meeting, I am going to propose we run un tested updates on all the production servers, then try to fix them on the fly...
because all companies should work like that.... its a fantastic way to do IT work...

Well this is awesome the first night i get home at a decent time from work sever is down. Thanks cryptic I guess I didn't need to play tonight anyways.

Sure thing, give me 250k ec for the rare kit I bought tonight plus cover my exp and ec for 5 rep projects.
they can be beat at lvl 50, don't punish all the people that can build ships correctly because some people cant... the new revamp on all the PVE missions is GREAT! weed out the <10K DPS players,.
Did you ever stop to consider that perhaps some people are new to the game and honestly don't have an idea of what they're doing yet or don't have the resources some of us do in order to get a ship to 10k dps. This game is about having fun and not being an elitist who's game is being defiled by those who dare pull less than 10k dps. I'll take the guy pulling 6k dps that knows what he's doing and can stay alive over the guy pulling 30k that stays dead most of the time. dps doesn't mean anything if you don't know what you're doing.
Fleet Alert also cannot function in the current form as its intended to be doable at all levels. with things the way they are you essentially bar anyone lower than 50, and perhaps even 60, from being able to run the mission. When other missions as well cannot be completed because people cannot deal enough damage, no matter the gear level, yes they need to call attention to it. The issue isn't people building ships or dps, the issue is that the hull strength, enemy hp stuff is all jacked up.

that all......i just spent 22mil about an hour before maintenance...
I finally hit level 54...after turning in EVERY SINGLE REPLAYED MISSION IN THE GAME, and only going from 50-52.8.
If they roll back my level, like they did to me twice on Tribble, I may actually, finally nerd-rage on here.
"Join Date: Jun 2012" Says Cryptic's "new" forum system. I've been here since a week before launch, but SOME stuff just didn't carry over through multiple system changes/updates.

The maintenance has been extended to 2300 Hours Pacific time.
