Alot of players played this game for a very long time especially many of us KDF veterans, seeing the stuff turn out throughout the years... no one is surprised.
Haven't Cryptic Devs always been clear that they expect to produce more things for the Federation because that's what most players play? Because Star Trek lore is predominantly about the Federation?.
I can see why there are more people playing Feds, they keep getting alot of new content... more content = more players. again if the Alliance of WoW and Jedi of SWTOR have alot more exculsive stuff for their factions than Horde and Sith, then the population would not be on par as it is now in those games would it?
Star Trek TV series and Movies are predominantly mostly about human dominated crew and focus only on their story not the Federation though they are part of it. this is an MMO so the same logic should not apply, since in MMO's are in a expanded universe, they focus on the players no matter what faction they're from, all while having different factions thats par and diverse to able compete with each other in equal standings without any bias.
Support the KDF by playing KDF and buying KDF ships and gear, however much of it they actually create. If the KDF is ever to get more stuff than the bare minimum, they're going to have to see the numbers.
um, i got the B'rotlh to B'rel Retro to Fleet, Fleet Norgh, Bortasqu, Mogh to Fleet, Kar'fi, that one ship i don't use but i got for the plasmonic leech console, puyjaq raptor, Fleet Negh'var, Fleet Vorcha, all the KDF C-store outfits (which there's only one) and logged on around almost 150 days with my KDF toons.... i think i and many other KDF players did their part to support the KDF, but it's kinda hard to support a faction that don't have many things to buy from on the C-store back during the time in a 2 year time span when there was nothing to buy for the KDF until the Mogh came by. They could easily sold KDF indigenous or Alien Align T5 ships during that period with layouts similar to Lock Box ships that could outsold many Fed ships out in the C-store in the past 2 years, but the dev's choose not to. and i can tell u for a fact that the Bortasqu did sell well (despite being underperformed compared to some other KDF Battle Cruisers) and the Mogh sell very well, as for the KDF Dyson ships not so much, many said due to lack of indigenous KDF skin ship outfits.

When things are built people do come, as it's proven in many other MMO's... since u already admitted that the KDF in underdeveloped in the early years in later posts... i will have to remind u that the KDF toke 3 years until LoR to get where it was at now, from PvP only faction in a subscription game to F2P faction that u have to unlock with a Fed toon at level 25... there's a saying that first impressions are everything, so in this case that will be true as many ppl that try to play KDF in the first 3 years in which alot of them quited due to lack of content for the KDF during those years... i have read from players ingame mutiple times saying the KDF is not worth playing, better stick with the Feds they got more stuff, etc.
To tell the truth, I'm not going to be terribly shocked if/when they release Adm. Janeway's alternate timeline shuttlecraft. And nobody else should be, either.
Who would be... i won't be surprised if they released a Q Lock Box in the near future...
the next ship really needs to be a BoP or a fleet guramba.

Fleet Guramba is promised for some time and I can't imagine DR without a T6 Bop because Bop are iconic ship for kdf so both ships should be next on kdf list of ships
The bop could be the counterpart for T6 Intel escorts of other faction with a disruptor lance

I got used to it over the years I been playing. So its nothing really new. The Feds side is the $ maker for the game. I say let them have it. So we all can keep playing and enjoying the game. To keep seeing new content and playing. I can sacrifice ships and other stuff to the Feds. Even the Romulans didn't get much off this pack. However their pack was during the LOR.
I still play KDF and continue to do so. Even the Exp boost helped me out on getting my BOP captain up a few levels. And once I get around to buying another ship. It will be a KDF ship. More likely the Mogh or something else.

I got the free Fed DSD from the 4th year Anniversary event. I didn't create my KDF toon soon enough to collect all the Qmmendations for the free KDF DSD.
I never bothered to even take my Fed DSD out of spacedock. It does not seem like anything special to me. I will likely delete it if I start running out of ship slots.
I actually wouldn't mind getting ahold of that freebie sci cruiser just to play around with, but I doubt they'll offer it again for free. There's some nice features in those sci cruisers if you can get all the set items mounted, but giving up that dedicated weapons slot for that weird transforming mount is just too high a price to pay for those awesome multiphasic shields. They're almost not bad looking either. Almost.
The problem with this bozo is that he does not have any business sense. He cannot see that gimping one side means that he has less players and less money. They need to fire his sorry butt and get someone who can see the big picture.

or maybe he can see the big picture and has access to information that says more people play Fed than KDF. Would more people play KDF if they got more ships? Who knows.
I know for me I play 7 characters. 4 Feds and 2 Roms and 1 KDF
I leveled all my Fed to max level and maxxed out the Rep grind.
my KDF and Rom got to max level and sat in space dock.
It wasn't until recently that I started playing my KDF and Rom again...even starting a Rom/KDF to take advantage of the bonus xp month.
The sad fact is most people seem to prefer to play Fed. It's unfortunate for those of us that play Rom or KDF but they give the love to where the most players are at. "The Needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few...or the one"

Be sure to harvest the Secondary Deflector & Warp Core from it, those you may 1 day want again. Also the base DSD is getting free T5U.
As an avid Federation player (Two Starfleet and one Romulan), it pains me to see how little there is KDF side. Whatever the reasons are, the sad fact is that the Klingons will always be behind Starfleet players in raw content. IMHO the KDF faction enjoys more freedom in the kind of ships they can have when compared to Starfleet. Hopefully this is something that will be explored more by the developers at some point, as it has in the past been reason for me to create a KDF character. The mirror (vo'kov?) carrier.. a beast of a ship, reminiscent of Battlestars (a soft spot for me) that ship on it's own drove me to play Klingon for a time.
Also, not all Fed players choose that because 'moar content' or what have you. I personally prefer the Starfleet ship designs, and the Klingon lore doesn't agree with me. If it does you, thats great! I wish I ran into more Klingons in my travels.
On the subject of the Dauntless being a cash grab, perhaps it is.. but I will be buying it. My science toon is in love with the boff/console layout, and I've always been a fan of the design.
Anyways, back to the real topic, I agree that the KDF should have more vessels and definitely has room for some very unique ships compared to the Starfleet ones. I hope that one day the KDF will catch up to 'us' in terms of fleet size and dedicated players. It would improve my experience as a Starfleet captain too.
Don't forget this also got pvp reduced to what it is. it's funny 15+/- years of mmo's with some form of pvp/head to head (in the case of racing mmo's like Motor City online and NFS World) = nobody ever in the history of mmo's pvp's lol biggest false statement ever.

Both Rom and KDF got T6 ships. As far as we know, just the two KDF and one Rom. There will be more down the road, though.
Delta Rising is by and large about retracing Voyager's journey in a sense. Of course, the Dauntless. They didn't run into too many Klingons out there in the Delta Quadrant. It's a theme. They didn't have to build any non-Federation playable ships to support that theme, but they did need them for expanded level progression and the new Intel specialization. So we got ships.

It doesn't matter if only 1 Person in the whole game played KDF. They choose to make a Klingon faction and they should support it equal. In all my life I have never heard of a game that had 2 or 3 factions and 1 faction got all the attention. TBH the subject is Klingon but it should be KDF and Romulan. When ever the Feds get a ship there should be a somewhat equal in stats ship for every other faction. This is Racism in a Video game of all things. The one thing the Entire Cannon of Star trek tried to make awareness to. The Klingon and Romulan Factions are just as important as the Federation.
The points you made above do seem relivant if they were pointed at the subject of say a book or movie. In a game its player base should have the Option of picking the Faction they want to play without being punished for it.
I am a person who post every day , but i am at STO from the last days of the beta and i am not much surprised that Cryptic ignore the KDF and Romulans , but i am surprised that they went for a raptor instead of BoP . What is the Klingon faction without BoP - bad , really bad . To be honest as player who play only with Rom and Klingon toons i wanted these factions to receive at least a small love - that is a game and every developer will want to have good spread of population not overpopulated one side and the others left in the dirt , but Cryptic didn't changed their politic from the release of the game and that remind me a topic from the beta where was discussed exactly how many fans expect to play with Feds and how many to play Klingons - the result was that the fed players a are not much more then Klingons - if that number changed the fault of that is only in the short sight for faction content , also add to that running away from the lore designs .
P.S. I really expected from Cryptic first T6 ship for the Klingons to be k'Vort not a raptor , k'Vort is a ship shown in TNG , also BoP is most popular ship in Star Trek from its first appearance at "Search of Spock " that ship grabbed the hearts of all Star Trek fans even more then the Constitution class and ignoring it is bad business decision .
Cryptic doesn't employ Klingon fans. I'd almost argue that they only have a tiny portion of people who actually like Star Trek.

The result is a feedback loop made of non-businessy decision making: it starts with an echo-chamber at Cryptic studios, where only what the developer wants to hear, is heard, which just happens to fit with what the Developer said.
Thus you get things like ignoring feedback on Tribble, and KDF population decline-which it would decline, in ANY GAME, when one faction gets everything, another faction gets some things, and the third gets NOTHING except buggy gameplay and having their faction-specific abilities stripped and transferred in an improved form to the other factions.
