Unable to Authenticate

I get the above error every time I try and log on, and my friends are having problems logging in. Is the Authentication Server down?
STO in a shellnut.

    Having the same issue with the game, but logging into the forums works fine apparently.

    Got the same problem.
    Let us wear Swimsuits on Foundry maps or bridges please! I would pay zen for that.

    Exactly the same. And it was working fine this morning (UK time). Tried to log back in just now though after an eight hour break and it won't work.

    *sigh*

    I assume server fallout from the weekend crash?

    Uh oh- Am I gonna lose another day of rep projects and upgrade schools ? 5 lost projects and 7 school projects lost in yesterdays crash, 5 BNP's, 500 or so zen.

    Thanks for the reports everyone

    We are looking into the problem and loading up our torpedo bays with more Red Shirts.

    We are gonna fire them at the servers until we get some results.

    We will update you as soon as we get any info on a repair.

    Same issue not unable to login game launcher! Not happy camper!

    Just use the tech team, that way you can get some competent staff. ;)

    Joking aside, will you be compensating gold members as we're paying not to play with all this downtime?

    same here....this sucks....need STO fix....going into withdrawal....think Cryptic should give us all T-6 ships for this inconvenience...LOL

    Not sure how this is relevant. The issue affects a lot of folks. Being an LTS doesn't make anyone immune to technical problems, regardless how entitled it might prompt some of them to feel.

    having same issue here on my account. but was working earlier because wifes account is still logged in on her computer fine from a couple hours ago. hope its fixed soon so i can check my research and upgrade stuff.
