I just downloaded the game and I pressed visit gateway, I login with my account, it says loading your command console and then says

What is happening, I just want to play the game!
This is exactly what is happening with me. I'm brand new to the game (or any game, for that matter) so I'm totally in the dark with how to proceed. I did wonder if it's because I'm running windows 8.
same error here. just stuck on the screen with all my characters listed, and i cant get into the game as the character preview doesn't show up, and the play button is grayed out, waiting for it to progress but it disconnects me.
same here now, after 150 sec server not responding at new map load i closed the game.
after re-launch i cant get the list of characters and disconnect me because time-out.
That's quite the paradox, how could you nerf nerf when the nerf is nerfed. But how would the nerf be nerfed when the nerf is nerfed? This allows the nerf not to be nerfed since the nerf is nerfed? But if the nerf isn't nerfed, it could still nerf nerfs. But as soon as the nerf is nerfed, the nerf power is lost. So paradoxally it the nerf nerf lost its nerf, while it's still nerfed, which cannot be because the nerf was unable to nerf.
Please don't necro a thread if it's 30 days or older . Things change in the meantime.
Yeah, but some of us are having this exact problem today, so I can see why someone might use an old thread to explain that.
I can't get past the retrieving characters screen now. Started happening about half an hour ago.
