Players level 51 60 will be scaled down to level 50 for this queue.
Advanced Difficulty replaces what was previously called Elite.
Players level 51-60 will be scaled to level 60 for this queue.
Elite Queues are now level 60 versions of PVE queues.
Only level 60 players can queue for this difficulty setting.
Currently, Borg: Disconnected is the only PVE queue with this setting.
Here are a few suggestions:
1. Consider classifying certain missions that are currently neither normal nor elite as advanced. For example, most players in the average PUG have no idea what to do in Starbase Incursion; it should probably be classified as an advanced mission. In fact, any mission that requires teamwork to accomplish an objective other than killing stuff should be classified as advanced or elite.
2. Separate normal, advanced, and elite missions into different tabs or add a difficulty filter.
3. Fix the overlap issues in the PvE queue window and other windows.
Was on Drozana, and when the Devidians show up and everything goes blue, it's REALLY blue. I was at the "free stuff" console, and could barely make out the mail/bank/exchange consoles.
**Edit** When I select the option "who are you" while talking to Commander Burgess, just after completing escalation, it reads as a bio, not as Burgess describing who he is.
**Edit again** all 3 of the commanders "who are you" bios read this way.

**Edit 3** while flying around in Delta, in the sector with the Jenolan Sphere, my ship and engines sound normal- the background thrumming, etc. When I moved into the sector containing the Syllerran System, it became silent. The menus still made regular noises, and when moving my ship from a stop, I heard the acceleration sounds, but then quiet again.
The answer to this is sub for a month and take the perks including access to the testing. I'm sure it will open up to the whole player base soon enough.
from what i heard, it won't open at all until mid october, after release.
Now clowns, that's another story. They scare the crap out of me.
We fight them too. Entire armies spilling out of Volkswagens.
We do our best to fight them off, but they keep sending them in.
I know, it's just not fair. Shouldn't we have a say and give feedback too?
Also, maybe that is why there were a considerable amount of bugs when LoR released, because they weren't enough players testing to identify them.
Have you considered that maybe the devs just dont feel like testing how long it would take for tribble servers to go down under the stress, and instead just want the new stuff tested?
And they say we will be able to easily do the new content with current ships:rolleyes:
I didn't die once with my ody. I think it is only a problem if you attack the other ships rather than focus on the command ship which went down easily i would say actually make the boss ship harder as it went down very quickly.

Here is the quintessential problem with game design, especially in MMOs. Player "A" complains that content is too hard, and Player "B" thinks everything is too easy. The reality is that B probably has an optimized end-game build, and A has a more common less well tweaked one, so balancing for both of them is difficult.
I know, for instance, that I was getting my butt kicked in Disconnected Adv yesterday, but I didn't stress out over it because on Tribble I don't run the same builds that I do on Live. If I were to run my super tweaked Phas/Phot Fleet Escort Refit on it, likely I would be fine. I don't consider Tribble to benefit much from running a build that is designed and refined by a launvh veteran player who has spent a lot of time with ACT making sure that I have maxed the DPS and survivability, nor would I take my UberTank KDF Eng Recluse that can take the CE's second wave burst and still have 70% hull left in and give an evaluation of how often I got popped as reliable feedback for the mission. That stuff will be valid feedback when we get to test the level 60 only Elite queues, but for the lower end stuff, it's of limited help.
If there's any arguement for not having Tribble be gold only that actually holds water, this is the one. Gold players tend to not represent the "average" STO player, so using their feedback risks balance issues later when they push to live.
i am curious about something am i the only one that has problem with the game crashing on the legacy of romulus loading screen when getting on tribble?
I found the first 3 Delta missions to be fairly easy with a T5 Ambassador. Not a single death at all. Even the ground seemed a bit... easy. My characters aren't the greatest on the ground but the mega Borg swarms didn't go much to my character. I do like the shorter mission lengths for the most part. I feel like I am progressing without feeling like I have to dedicate 4 hours to just getting through a few missions. I do think the mission where you do the mind meld stuff though could be split into two.
I did notice a few bugs in the Voyager interior. For starters, the bridge continues to carry on the trend of not having the viewscreen in alignment with the rest of the bridge. It looks... lopsided and isn't centered. There was also a few corridors where the wall textures flickered between the texture and black. When meeting the Doctor in Sickbay, the lighting is a little low. Not a lot but just a touch in my opinion until you zap him. Excellent work on Sickbay and Engineering for the Voyager interior. The Doctor has a butt chin. I don't remember if he actually does or not but it seemed like it didn't fit along with the frown lines on his face looking a bit over done. I hope there is an effect that isn't currently in the mission for when the Doctor activates that is similar to what we all know from Voyager. Without that, he doesn't really seem like a hologram. That also leads into shooting him. Is it possible to change this to having to disable him with one of the Sickbay consoles instead or having to shoot out the emitters in Sickbay?
I do realize that most of what I pointed out is purely visual but polish is something I see lacking in STO a lot. I know I wouldn't be the only one happy to see a lot of bridges redone to have the viewscreens centered and aligned properly to the seating on the bridge.

Looking for a new fleet? Drop by the in-game chat channel, "tenforwardforum", and say hi to the members of A Fleet Called Ten Forward (Fed) and The Orion Pirates (KDF). If you already have a fleet you are happy with, please feel free to drop by our chat channel if you are looking for a friendly bunch of helpful people to socialize with.
Be nice if they'd fix the bug preventing me from getting into the Tribble server. I haven't been able to access it since Legacy, and all bug reports go unheeded.
"Error 31: A hog returned an error while trying to read."
Anyone know how to fix that? Sounds more like a Harry Potter issue rather than Star Trek.

This may in fact be intentional since we are not 'actually' in the medical bay and so nothing electronic is supposed to work anyway.
hey guys. i had the tribble server downloaded before but now its missing off my list of servers. now i only got the normal server and red shirt. can i get a link or something to get into the server again? ty

Scrollbar overlaps with table in PvE queue window
Scrollbar overlaps with table in social window
No space between scrollbars and tables in "News" tab of fleet window
