Seconded. Even if I can't play around with the options, some pics would be nice.

And just so hopes don't go beyond the capabilities of the system, yes, there are some additional sliders, and yes a couple existing ones may have extended min/max. But for the most part, these new additions only allow for very subtle additional scaling.
Other than that, the organization is hopefully more pleasing to everyone.

Sliders and stuff like that mean nothing to those of us who will just have our sliders greyed out where we can't even use them lol.
So does the "mouth corner position" slider mean we can make character faces without the perpetual frown like Reman males for example?
Or Klingons being always angry... hehe.
crypticjoejing: Can't wait to see how the sliders work in-game on the character itself. It makes me nearly as fidgety as the reworked Interpid-class & its bridge. Something I must see & have.... Delta Rising is beginning to make me feel like the proverbial child before christmas again.

My first pass on one of my toons made it look like a bad transporter accident but but I'm already figuring out how to refine the look of my toons with it and the results are exciting.

Yes, they are. I love 'em! They have some clipping issues, there and there, but... definitelly, definitelly lovely improvement & touches. I've got early Christmas!

The waist slider works peach, and the ability to adjust the chest proportion is definitelly much, much niftier.
Also, my Klingon BOFF's, thanks to mouth corner, don't look permanently angry too! So far, me gusta, although there are of course some clipping issues. Will mention in more elaborate post later, to help with killing the bugz.

Looks good for more options, but could there be a type of "Build" feature too? Right now, if you want specific fitness types, it's rather disportionate. like wanting a "husky" or fat character, the best you can do makes it look like the character is pregnant. And if you want built, well it doesn't look realisitic (well for non-aliens).
Also, is it possible to get rid of the Premade options that's in the tailor? I for one really hate my character's looks get ruined when I accidentally click on one of those presets. Unless you are a person who likes to pull off a shapeshifter, I really don't see much use for that outside of character creation. So could we please have an ability to turn it off?
One more thing, will this improved Tailor be implemented with the Foundry?

Will these slider changes be making their way into the Foundry UI as well?
One nitpick I've always had with the tailor, will there ever be an option to separate head/body from uniform? Be able to set it to 'standardized' so you can edit it once and have it fixed on all the uniforms?

I'm having an issue with proportions both in season 9 and the new tribble patch... You can replicate this easily with any female alien character. Set all sliders to zero.

Hips are too big even on the lowest setting they should be proportional to the rest of the body.
That's... a good point.
Anyways, I'd been plugging bugs by now, but I've been horribly caught by illness, so it'll have to wait. So for now, giving nothing but praise, as the touches & improvements are actually very nice & noticeable. Part of me was worried I'd not be able to tell a difference, but... seriously, you've outdone yourself, crypticjoejing. So my thanks to you & everyone else, who's responsible for the new sliders. Love them. Bug reports after I kill my own bug.

The new sliders look great so far. I also noticed a new "Chest Blend" option on some costumes, which I'm assuming can eventually be used to give Trill spots on their necks.
Now that we have more control over heads and bodies, I'd like to see a "Head/Body Only" option on the Load Costume menu. This would simply be the opposite of the "Outfit Only" option -- load head and body settings, with no changes to uniform.
This would make it much easier to apply changes to head or body to multiple outfit slots. As it stands now, I would have to load an outfit, reset the uniform (top and bottom, possibly changing type as well), then rename the slot since loading a full outfit renames the slot. Repeating this process for all my costume slots is something I'm dreading.
Well, after having a little bit of a play with new sliders and adjustments, I can say that the changes are AWESOME!
I'd agree though, that there does need to be a lot more down scaling on the lower body areas.
At maximum, most upper body parts are fairly even, but at the lowest setting, there is a very large and noticeable difference, and the results are not very realistic (as realistic as you can be with "alien" bodies I guess)
For humanoid (as in NOT "Alien") Bodies:
I would recommend scaling the "minimum" sizes for lower body parts down about 30% more.
I also think that the facial scaling option need about 20% more variety i.e. The "Eye Width" needs to have more variation, and particularly the Eye Height, needs be able to be set lower, Eye Size definetly needs the ability to be made larger on all facial types.
Lower leg size (Calves and Shins) needs to be upped more, as does overall foot size. And Calves particularly need more scaling.
Basically, it looks like at the moment, some of the adjustments are a little on the "conservative' side, I'm not saying we need to see ridiculous freaks being created, but definetly a small increase wouldn't hurt.
One final request is to have an "Eye Rotation" option similar to the mouth corner slider.
Not all faces have the inside corner of the eyes lower than the outside corners, so the option to "rotate" or at least Raise/Lower both the inside and outside of the eye corners would be a big plus.
...
One final note, have you guys been playing with the uniform textures and details? It seemed like many of the uniforms were much more detailed and finely textured. If so ... Wow .. they look great!
Definitelly agreeing on the 'minimum' settings, if there is a possibility to make a more minimum setting, for hips/bust (ok, gonna say it, since everyone gets it & I've been fighting a fever for last week, so not strong to beat around the bush by sugercoating - TRIBBLE).
Also, the waist slider, it imo could use a small improvement on the upper side of things. As waist, before, was an issue why females looked so unnaturally skinny, especially if you wanted to bulk them up.
But again, reinforcing that those sliders are definitelly a step towards nicer direction & more customization.
