Cause they are not ingame I think. I see a nothing but farmers and I thought KDF meant Klingon Defense Force.

So the goal of this thread. To find the KDF or get rename one faction into the KFF. SuvwI' Qap Suq yInISQo'

Well, my friend and I are still playing. Albeit we tend to do so as a kind of support mechanism for each other.

Btw he likes to play Defera hard for the Fleet Marks so if that's a thing for anyone here then yeah, get on that. He's complained it's like pulling teeth to get a group up for that. I like doing Fed minefield whenever it's on but I'm like the ONLY ONE who does, apparently.

My KDF is in the shipyard moving weapons every time it needs to change ships because I can't do it in space like my Fed captain can.
Wow. There is a new KDF Science ship. I'll be!

My ex-Borg KDF Klingon female is often in orbit around Qo'Nos between missions. Though I do use her to farm she is much more than that.

She is KDF, lvl 46 and I run her through the storyline. Soon she'll be 50 when I'll start working on her reputation projects.

Has he joined the 'KDF Defera' channel? Or any of the other channels listed >here<?

I'm not gonna lie... since the removal of Klingon vs Federation PvP Queue's, i've join the KFF (Klingon Farming Forces) afterwards... there is no honor nor glory to team up with dishonorable Federation Pe'taQs whom are in bed with their undine spies... Cryptic spam the same Klingon honor card with the undine situration which they did with the Romulan Puppet Republic's to make a fake peace.

He's channel shy. I've got him to join Public eSTF and my next mission is to get him to join NoP Public Service. But since he's doing Defera I'll point him in that direction too. Thanks! :)

Funny... because when the Undine attacked Quo'nos... wasn't it a FEDERATION Captain who was willing to sacrifice himself to save the planet, thus showing a great deal of Honor? I don't remember seeing Koren making that move. I do remember a lot of complaining on Koren's part.

Also... the Federation doesn't have Undine spies. They're just as vulnerable as the KDF, as shown by Egg, Admiral Zelle, and Cooper. Heck... the same Federation Captain who destroyed the Undine Planet Killer at Quo'nos admitted Starfleet didn't see a threat when the Klingons did!

There's a common enemy now, besides the Borg, and many glorious battles ahead of the Empire. And the Federation and Romulan Republic will fight alongside the Empire against these threats now. Unless you want the Iconians to divide the Quadrant for easy conquest.

i think the secret to finding the kdf is either being a part of one of the larger kdf fleet organisations (beautiful, orion empire, etc), or knowing which channels to be a member of. kdf have had to adapt and rely less on blind queuing and more on organised queues due to the state cryptic keeps the faction in. for example, i just ran 5 stfs and never joined a public queue once...

i think my first bit of advise would be to join a real kdf fleet and avoid some kdf farming fleet run by feddie mains. there are actually quite a few kdf fleets that are active out there. they just sort of get lost in all the feddie noise.

started going downhill fast for me when Romulans showed up. 1st city when the way of ESD when all the feddy bears moved in in rommy clothing. hasn't been the same since.

then dinosaurs with lasers on their heads .

    grind for everything.

pvp team with feddy bears. ( just have not even wanted to pvp since then. the fun was killing feds not just killing people.

TRIBBLE over doffing with this new crafting revamp revamp,

    nerfing Loot prices

just way too many bugs never fixed. still have extra uniform slots I paid real money for not working. no response about it ever. I broke my own rule of not spending more money with them till they actually gave me what I paid for with the uniforms , to support the KDF and buy the Mogh. and I didn't like it either unless you just want to run a a2b boat.

so long story short, I don't want to be a peacnik Klingon making nice. the enemy of my enemy is NOT my friend its just another enemy. be tween nerfs, bugs, stupid stuff (dinos/lockbox ships) and then trying their hardest to make us all the same instead of making the faction unique has just killed the game for me.

The bulk of kdf are alts, but there are plenty of people playing the faction at any one time. In any stf, you have 1/5 kdf most of the time, at the least.

Its a fraction of fed players, but its not empty. Always some people chatting in qonos. Always a fleet alert going. Look harder? A little slow at times but usually a big fleet offering store access as well.

I breathe a sigh of relief whenever I see KDF players show up in an STF. I know they at least are going to know what they're doing. With Fed captains it's always a TRIBBLE-shoot.

Likewise, you can generally rely on a fellow KDFer to know what to do and to actually be running a ship that does some damage.
Its funny really the faction that has the least can do the most with what little they have.

They got chased out of STO. This last lockbox giving aceton assimilator to the feds and making another OP 5 tac console/5 fore weapon escort while the KDF still doesn't have any 5 tac console or 5 fore weapon escorts was the last straw for many of us.
The devs sent a loud and clear message to us that we aren't wanted and to go away.

No, the n00bage Fedside is insanely high.
They're the reason I don't bother to queue up for Cure Space Elite.

My favourites are the ones with like 12 ship injuries at the start of a STF. You just know you are in for a fun time.

Noobage is a Fedling tradition, though. It extends WAY back, far before the existence of STO itself. In every Star Trek faction-divided game, the Fedlings have always had a notorious reputation for noobage. In one of them, there was a phenomenon known as the "Fedling Shield Bug", where the shields on Federation ships failed to block damage from enemy weapons. This was caused by Fedling players being too clueless to raise their shields, and thus flying through entire battles shieldless as reams of "DIRECT HIT TO X" scrolled across the screen in angry text.

Exactly. I don't even log on anymore. Well, at least I have a lot of free time now. Enjoy your one faction game Cryptic. To be honest the game is full of cowards anyway. It's not like I'm really missing something PVP wise. Just Buff the AI then I'll play again.
The dress is gold and white. Over 70% people says so. When viewed from a certain screen angle it appears blue and black. The dress displayed on amazon is a blue and black dress, but it's not the same dress in the picture. If you're seeing blue & black you're slightly colored blind. A normal upright screen = white and gold.

I switch between toons; Fed, KDF, Rom. However, Fed Engineer (cruiser exclusive) and KDF Tactical (BoP exclusive) are my primary toons. Rom (Fed Aligned) Science toon is relatively new... still trying to figure out how to play the science track.

I've been mostly working on rep systems for my Fed and KDF toons. They are the most "experienced" toons. Waiting for my KDF toon to finish New Romulan Rep before my Rom toon does both Omega and New Romulan reps.

I don't play PvP nor am I part of a fleet. I prefer to be on my own for now. The exception would be Otha System where I sometimes send my Fed toon, but most often go there with my KDF toon. Over the weekend I was there with my KDF toon and noticed a poor Fed toon having problems... I decided to help him out by taking down some Borg before leaving.

Got a 4th toon... a KDF Engineer 'cuz I subbed for one month (to get extra inventory and bank slots) and got an extra toon slot. That toon is on reserve as a "max level weekend warrior". It is hard enough to devote time to 3 active toons as it is right now.

It's a sadly self fulfilling prophecy that Cryptic has created ... By trying to stick to what they perceive as 'canon' they have kept Klingons ...

Every thing is ... Dark and harsh ... and sadly that's reflected in the costumes, locations and even ships (how often do you wish for a colour other than red/orange on your bridge?) Everything is "smoky' and dreary. Does the sun never shine on First City? Are there no modern lighting system? Do the tailors on Qo'noS not know how to make 'lighter" coloured dyes?

A culture could never get to the level the Klingons are obviously at without Love, Life, Art and Literature, yet Cryptic refuse to show any of this in game ...

Even down to the fact they restrict costume colours to alll dark miserable, disheartening hues ... It's wrong, and ultimately self defeating.

They wont change it, because they say there aren't enough Klingons, but there aren't enough Klingons because they wont change it.

Well to be fair Qo'nos might well be dark and murky nowadays anyway thanks to the damage Praxis would of done to the environment.
