Hi blingdenston, our RP division (Medical), certainly still exists and has active members.
As a previous member, I would greatly recommend this fleet for Federation players and characters. They were a great bunch of people to play the game with.

My two main questions are 1) are you alt friendly? (not like I have 30 characters but I do have a few more than your average.). 2) Do you take Fed allied Romulans or just Feds?

Well , to answer your questions, Yes we are Alt friendly, while you're only allowed one main character in the main fleet ( to free up room etc ) we have a dedicated alt fleet too.
Secondly, we allow any combination of characters. we have a fed main fleet that can take federation or federation allied romulans, and a KDF fleet that can take KDF and KDF aligned romulans
Looking forward to the 5th Anniversary Festivities coming at the end of August... That's Five years since the founding of the 12th... Still going strong!
