Official Thread: Risa Map Load Bug (Resolved)

3 times now I have tried to log in since the sever came back up from Maintenance. All three times I get to the Character Selection screen, choose the character I want to log in with and when loading map, I get "Server Not Responding". The first time, I let the timer run up to 500 secs before force closing the client. All three times, it happens at 94.11% loaded.

    Same... I even moved my 'altmarda' to Risa to avoid this!

    I have the same problem but only with 2 character. I logged out with these characters on Risa. Now I can't go back to Risa. All other characters have no problem....

    My two toons that were in the Risa Summer map before the patch get stuck in "Server Not Responding" status when trying to log in. The other 3 toons get in fine.

    Awesome, I can't use my two main toons. Please fix!

    Oh, I see why... the event has not started yet, so they might be stuck due to that....

    There is another thread about this, but it seems to affect all toons on Risa before the patch. Welcome to botched Summer event patches courtesy of Cryptic. Can we get an emergency patch tonight? We're stuck without being able to start the Summer grind!

    Oke so this afternoon i went to RISA to leave my toon there so when after patch i would be there and i could start off my grind! oke so far so good right...

    Now after patch i log in on my other main (not the one i put on Risa) no problems what so ever!
    now the part i dont understand the guy i leave on RISA cant be loaded i get first time 700+s loading screen and now im arround that or higher again! How do i fix this? because its my main main toon i want to grind down for this :(

    Please any info would be nice and people let you voice hear if ur have the same problem..

    I parked my main in Risa resort before the patch and he loaded fine.

    But the problem seems to indeed be happening with a number of players.

    Yeah, same problem here. I parked at Risa last night, now it won't load.

    I have the same problem, but only with one character (Picard@starbase35). I logged out with these character on Risa, when i logged on, i have Server not responding on these Char. Now I can't go back to Risa. All other characters have no problem..

    Also, could a dev please chime in as this is a pretty bad bug affecting the Summer event?

    yes i hope this get fixed soon because its my main toon that i wanted to use for this event! thats why i parked it there in Risa zone4

    Yep, same here, had three toons parked at Risa.... none can get on because map won't load..... toons anwhere else are okay. They borked something.

    Anyone else having problems finding the new contacts?

    It seems that none of the new events are even here, so I'm hoping it gets fixed soon.

    And I really do hope teh even gets expanded.

    Well, we're all in a pickle thanks to the dev's awesome game breaking patching abilities. Now we sit back, wait patiently, and start the cries to extend the Summer event.

    Same issue here. Got main on Risa and alt on Nimbus 3. alt loads main doesn't. mind you I have a "server not responding" everytime I get a load screen anyways.

    You'd think that they would've done something similar to the old esd to new esd map swap when S9 hit.

    Edit: Apparently was Ninja'd by frosty so at least they know of the issue

    Same here. Character I left on Risa won't load.

    Edit: Good thing that the Character that I was going to grind on doesn't have a problem. :D
