I postponed this long enough, till today that is, when i went to borg incursion using dw reenactment specced ship. I dont have to tell you how fun it was, so naturally i want in. This could easily bring me back to game (didnt play much since s9 went live, basically login, logout).

I'd love to try this out. Been looking for post-50 challenges more than grinds. I rolled back to my lvl 30 Intrepid and tried to reasonably kit it out, and it's been fun.

Another plug for STB. Went in with them with a Mirror Assault Cruiser, nailed the optional with seconds left on the clock (One day I'll learn the names of the STFs...one day).
If you're looking for a group that has a ton of fun and gets stuff done, STB is the way to go!

Lots of us are playing shuttles because of the event, but not really STB-style (no meetups or anything). We have occasionally done shuttle missions together before this event, and given a number of us bought/set up new shuttles for this event, I can see them becoming a little more common in the future.
For shuttles, we've been throwing our best rep/fleet gear on them. It really does make things more fun in this case. Still trying to stick to faction weaponry in my case, to keep a little sanity.
I can confirm that STB members did indeed take part in the Shuttle Event. There were many explosions on (both) sides, and yummy marks to be had by all.
I'm interested in this channel. Got two chars close to 50, a Fed who is 44, and a Fed Rommie, who is 45, so while not eligible foe elite STFs just yet, are eligible for normal STFs. @handle is shadokitty.

No problem, on both counts. Half the thing of STB is that we don't care about skill level, and we will endevour to help you,(but not force you to do things like other people,) and who knows, there may be something you can teach us.
None of us use voice chat to my knowledge. The centaur isn't as close to the angle as te other 3... But I can't change the angle. Maybe ill put a diff ship there.
