I found this site, http://stostatus.com/ , thanks 106th fleet! Basically it's saying the account server is dead, maybe it's just down for maintenance although it's 2 days before they said Arc would go down, maybe those that will be live during that downtime have to go down first.
Thankfully I got my last batch of Lobi from the FE before this happened.
Account server down. fascinating. I don't know much about how these things work so it's a bit surprising that the account authentication has it's owns server. Seems a bit convoluted to me.

Glad to know its not just me....it was working fine before...now I keep getting Unable to Authenticate error....I thought someone messed with my account so i changed my password but i guess it wasn't that...still unable to log in.:mad:
Okay, I was in the middle of Dilithium grinding when all of the sudden I get an "Account Ticket Failue" error and am DCed. When I try to log in after restarting, I get "Unable to Authenticate" errors in the launcher.
I have tried the following:
Restarting the launcher
Releasing/Renewing IP
Restarting Router and PC
Flushing DNS
Checking the forums
Also, Cryptic should compensate for missing Dilithium. Which is 12 chars times 8000 Dilithium at 151 Dilithium Per Zen equaling a total of 635 Zen (rounding down). :P
can't log in. if i type in the password and try to log in, I don't even get an error message. The password field just clears and it acts like nothing even happened

ya they have a app that every time something is wrong with the server they get notification
