Hi Captains,
We will be bringing down Star Trek Online tomorrow, Thursday May 8th, at 7AM PDT (click
here to view in your timezone) for maintenance to apply a new patch. Patch notes can be found
here, and we expect this maintenance to last for 2.5 hours. The test server, launcher and access to manage your account may also be unavailable during some portions of the maintenance.
Thanks for your patience and understanding,

I have to ask... why bother? Defera is one of the buggiest places in the entire game, and you fix a stuck drone at one of the probe locations. This is like putting a sticking plaster on a warp core fracture and hoping it will avert a breach.
So just to make sure here. I have a Fed Alien female who is missing the Omega Force helmet, shoulder pads, and collar on the costume in the tailor. Using this transfer deal might fix that?
Mine Trap Supporter
It's something.
Is the result of this procedure the same as if we discard the item and immediately retrieve it again from our personal replicator?

Lotsa of fixes today. Kudos for that!
My weapon batteries constantly being removed from my tray upon warping to different map, however, waa one of the more egregious ones; and I see it sadly didn't get fixed.
Hardly, good team that knows what it's doing will kill it easily, as well as the rest of the mission, the only bugs with this mission are not being able to make a private queue for it and the asteroids in the Gornar version hit you even if they're 1km or more away. Otherwise this is finally a mission that takes some effort to complete, unlike the absurdity of the Borg STF's nowadays that you can quite easily finish in 2-3 minutes if that and minimal man every ground.
While I'm on the topic though, let's see Undine Infiltration buffed so that provides a challenge, because at present the Elite version is a bit of a let down.
Anyway, good to see some more fixes, certainly going to be taking advantage of some of those, especially with me kit and tailor bugs
This, just simply this. I mean I want to enjoy the new PE shinyness.
Resolved an issue that was causing NPCs in Storming the Spire (Elite) and The Breach (Elite) to be much more difficult than intended.

Nice list of fixes, although there is one thing i dont understand.
Bugs? Yeah sure, they might be hard to find and fix the code. I don't code, so i have no idea.
But the exchange and vendors being compatible with kit modules? Umm, Did nobody even think of that when you where developing them? I really don't get why it's taken 2 weeks for a basic function to be added in..
I especially like the minor fix to Breach Elite; that might actually make it worth the time.
Free ship slots, yay!
Just to be safe, be sure to de-equip your Fleet Patrol Escorts if you have them and switch to another ship. Because we all know they're going to somehow mess this up, even though there will be two separate ships. :P
Second this. The most annoying bug arround. It's not even alone when you transfer to another map, but when you log on. Parked my Ha'akona in space, completely set up with the power tray. Saved it as a layout. When I logged into this alt, today, wack : power tray gone and even not able to recall it with the saved layout.
This isn't a small bug, but a major one, especially if you have nearly every available ship for Romulans on those alts.
I take it here in EU we now have to assume everything will be done at a time that is convenient for muricans ?
Getting a bit tired of all these maintenances right in the middle of my playtime. But I suppose some customers are more important than others. Please dont give us a knee jerk reaction by having a single maintenance that is convenient for us, we wouldn't want you to trouble yourselves.
Would be nice if the company we supply with money occasionally did a late maintenance that was inconvenient to them maybe ? You lot can stay late you know or even god forbid get into work early, like the rest of us have to sometimes, honestly it wont kill you. It means you have to inconvenience yourselves but hey you do it to Europe all the time !
How about making it a passive again? That'd be much better.
Good job cryptic. And no fix for the impulse bug????
Ow lol, people keep saying this. I guess some of you are really supporting this game.. lol. They still didnt fix the most important bugs of the game, and it is "not a bad patch". You guys seriously need to be more honest and stop being condescendent to cryptic. They are not going to gift you just for saying that.
What about the overheating issues and the bad graphic performance of the new season 9?? nothing about it??? lol...
Well, i guess cryptic doesnt care anymore, they are doing all these fails on purpose..
Free ship slots??? who fak1n cares?? of course, its the same story they gift you the things they cant sell. Because NOBODY uses more than 4 or 5 ship slots, its stupid. But since thats the reason they cant sell it, they gift it. I suposse they already know the 65% of the player base are little kids.
Whatever dude.
I'd give your comment more credence if you did anything other than moan and whinge. But since I've literally never seen you make a post that did not contain some form of whinge, I'm just laughing at this.
You know, maybe the reason they can't fix those major bugs is because every time they actually DO get them fixed, on Tribble or Redshirt or wherever, the entire game breaks or something.
Just a thought. I mean, this isn't the only game with persistent bugs; DDO's had some graphics issues that've been up for years without even dev acknowledgement. And the Blizzard game that shall not be named gets pretty openly borked up with every single patch.
Seriously, man. You act like this is the only bugged game in the world.
Agreed. Fortunately, for me, it's only my weapons batteries that are keep being unslotted from the tray. But even *that* makes the game hardly playable. Go into STF -> Press F10 -> Unlock Tray -> Put batteries back in -> Lock Tray again. In that time others have already killed the first Cube.
As it stands now, I only do a bit of pew-pew in the Undine zone (and make sure I don't leave it). Honestly, nobody gives a flying rat's *ss about a spare Borg Cube in Defera. Tray issues, however, like I said earlier, are amongst the most egregious in the game, though. Cryptic would do well to make fixing those a high priority in the next patch.
You're being ueber-silly. And you should really speak for yourself. I was at max ship slots (32?), prior to Season 8, and bought a few more with Season 8.5 (I think). So, 2 extra ship slots for me makes for a very welcome gift indeed!
Geez, I thought I ripped on Cryptic a lot...
You really have nothing else better to do...
