I'm loving the additions to the Tailor on Tribble, and word is that they WILL come over to Holodeck with S9. I can finally make a decent combat outfit with a backpack. Now if they would add Orange to the list of colors for the holo armor kit visuals... wait... we'd have hundreds of Commander Shepards then. lol

my plan is to equip my team so they fit their new OMEGA FORCE outfits!

boff 1, sniper: mk x omega outfit with maybe abit of armoring
boff 2, heavy weapons: full reaper armoring and minigun
boff 3, CQB: mk xii costume and MACO pulsewave
boff 4, spec-ops: OMEGA auto carbine and some mix of the OMEGA costumes to make her look SWAT-ish :D

I have a pretty clear idea what SHOULD happen with BOs, unique or not, but thats for another topic.
You should start another topic on that. :)
How many new C-Store costumes have you seen recently in general?
C-Store? Not many. Why? Because they've been doing Lobi Costumes instead to bleed us even more.

Perhaps they could do Lobi Costumes for each unique Boff? 50 Lobi each (considering we're only going to be using it on one officer)?

That means creating 3 new helmets and "some" new variants of the costume.

No it doesn't. As with the Jem'hdar there are a number of NPC costume pieces that could be used. Come to think of it, the same goes for the Voth and Borg BOFFs.

Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though.
JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

B'eves works on Tribble if you do a certain sequence of steps. Its not really *fixed* but is within daylight of getting fixed.

    Sweet Jesus.

But those do only work with the rest of those costumes. On the "current" breen another Helmet would look like putting a galaxy saucer on a Sovereign. Those costumes only work as a whole each.

You cannot use the Ferengi Jackets on boffs.

The only downside that I can see is that every time you want to switch your BOFF between rep armour and their everyday uniform, you have to go and visit a tailor to completely change their outfit. The only way this change is going to work for my BOFFs is when they introduce BOFF costume slots, so I can switch between uniforms on the fly.

so i've been spending some time in the tailor on tribble, and i almost fell out of my chair when i saw it: WE CAN GIVE OUR BOFFS REP COSTUMES NOW!!! HELLO, OMEGA ASSAULT TEAM!!!
also, THANK YOU for the kit pieces in the tailor, these things are a blessing for looking badass:D though i would like to know why they have been so restricted for our boffs

so again, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, AND THANK YOU, CRYPTIC!!! :D:D

Is this only for the full MKXII omega sets then? I unfortunately only have the full MACO XI set since before the rep addition, and I can't seem to get the armor to go onto my boffs.

I wish they would just give us free realm, to mix and match any piece of gear with another.

Maco with omega, or maco with dyson, or dyson with omega, or etc. etc. etc. you get the point.

You know I read a lot of posts in this thread from people I personally call "pisswhistlers"
Those that post about how "hard" and "difficult" or "time consuming" it would be to make costumes and uniforms more customizable and more readily available ...

Have you actually BEEN to ESD, Qo'noS or New Romulus? Have you seen some of the (sometimes disturbing) body variations that players come up with? All wearing "standard" outfits.
The truth is that it's nothing more than going through assets lists and perhaps loot tables to make the outfits wearable and customizable.

The possible graphical issues with 99.85% of outfits don't exist in reality because the game uses essentially the same body morph for almost all races. "Alien" and "Gorn" are probably the only 2 that would possible cause issues (if we had them, imagine a female Gorn in an Orion costume? <shudder>) But most (all?) of the body morphs for those races have already been created, so again their is no issue ...

Cryptic needs to get one or two Character/Costume Devs to spend perhaps 1 or 2 days tweaking some of the meshes, and adjusting the lists and it's done ...
Oh, hoho hohhhhh, Oh,, hoho, hohhhhh

Man you could make some really ugly combinations with that. I MUST HAVE IT.

Finally I can put my Romulan Borg BOFF into something more feasible than the horrible Romulan stuff.. no offence. I'd want her to wear a Starfleet uniform ideally, but this will do... for now. Hoping they will let those to use the Starfleet uniform one day :D

i played around in the tailor with my orion female, which is also how i noticed the be'ves were back in :P and i seem to have VERY FEW options for kit pieces for my uniform, however, that is not the case on my romulan or federation (SURPRISE!!!1!11)
so yea, bummer for all you KDF players :(

Erm... for my orion female, the only two options i can use are, the uniform, with the classic orion female look clothes, and the klingon look, with the klingon clothes. That, plus the formal wear. And the klingon academy outfit. Not to mention the lower part, orion / standard.

    Thats all.

With my romulan toon, that i love it, i can mix the classic romulan outfit with the tal shiar one, and the 24 th century romulan uniform. Plus some parts of the Reman outfit. Plus all the clothes that are already there from the actual uniform. Plus the shoulder pads, that looks nice. And other things i probably forgot.

I mean, the difference is sooo high lol.

tryed out the new tailor on tribble and I'm a llil dissapointed was hoping to creat a gorn in the alien creator but it's still the same old character creator but one thing that is cool though is that we can dress up our bridge officers with MACO and OMEGA gear ^^
