How can you be certain that Trendy is a female in real life? The acronyms don't lie. I know because I'm a dude that players female characters sometimes. :P
For atmospheric assault, the closest I ever came to joining it was, well, clicking the join button when enough players were found. But then time ran out due to not enough joining and a couple had left the queue. So I can only go by what I've seen posted on the forums about it. I have never to this day ever been able to get into that event. It died about a week or so after LoR launched.
I found it interesting and probably would have been fun to play around with set ups, see what could be done with small craft. But, the reward vs time/effort was pathetic. I hate to say it, but with so much to *earn* and so little time (for me anyway), this stuff matters.
And this is not the only mission to suffer from this. The others are not hard to find. Just look for the empty queues.
I'm over joyed at the removal of the Shuttle Weekend, no one ever queues for shuttle events. Hell I've even tried for the PvP shuttle match, just to see if the game would be more balanced, never got to play ever. However I think it's just been removed because the crappy Mirror event was extended and the two events would be too close. Why in god's name did they ever think this would be a good weekend event. Just because some maxed out fleets do Infeceted in shuttles doesn't mean the rest of us want to. Judging by Risa Cryptic has lost the plot again.
Btw Cryptic isn't it about time you cleared out the PvE Queues, 50% are never used now since you moved to weekend bonus.
So far, that comment doesn't seem to contain the words "Oh, btw, you will only be able to use 50% of all your traits at the same time, from here on it." So, in that case, it's all good.
I don't want to sound mean, but can you guys a constructive patch for a change?
Something like, I don't know, fixing the bug that prevents the KDF faction to enter Delta Volanis??
Seriously, I have never encountered any other game in my life where an entire faction (or faction and a half counting the KDF allied Romulans) is cut off from an entire sector in the game without that being fixed for months now. Not even going into the fact that it's not even reckognized as a known issue.

Not singling you out apocalypse. But for those of you talking about making shuttles viable, you really just need the right equipment and shuttle. The shuttle is everything. I would go with either a Aeon Timeship or a Delta Flyer.
This is mine...I have since transplanted that into a Delta Flyer, but the layouts are so similar it really didnt cause any problems.
I just cant even imagine why people will like to pilot a shuttle. Lol. I guess people likes to pilot big spots in the space lol. I dont pilot a shuttle because visually and asthetically they are horrible, specially when they fire their weapons. Period. Not because i dont like the shuttle maps or not because i dont like shuttles. I always wanted a re vamp on shuttle stuff, but first, cryptic needs to work on the asthetics of the shuttles when they are in action. At least make weapons smaller and in scale with the shuttles... lol Honestly i will never fly a shuttle if the only thing i see its the phaser spot firing from my entire shuttle (and i cant even see my own shuttle in the process). That is really stupid and awful and of course its one of the reasons A LOT of people will never fly in a shuttle.

U guys amazed me. Do you realize that fixing things is not on the plans of cryptic since ages ago, right??
Do you realize that, in an entire week, they only adressed 2 little glitches and thats it?? and they do the same every week? are you aware of it, right? do you realize that is a typical strategy to keep players "happy" and thats it?
Do you realize that they dont care about anything else that keep working on the new content and the new power creep stuff? (and this is normal since nobody seem to care about having 1 million bugs in-game, they just want new content, new esd, new seasons and so on, so dont expect EVER cryptic to do some fixing if this never changes.).
In normal and serious conditions, they should launch every week a patch with 5 or 6 important fixes at least. I mean, after 7 days, a patch with 5 lines of "patch notes" in it and 90% of the patch notes are not about fixing bugs?? seriously?? lol. Maybe the workers on cryptic are not being paid enough, i guess, hahahaha. Seriously, what the hell are cryptic's employers working on??? cant they just use a group of 4 or 5 guys to work ONLY on fixing bugs, please???? is that so damn fuk1n hard??? .
Let me see if I understand you cryptic. Season 9 will be realeased in like 30 days, so you're going to start turing stuff off/taking things away now why? If retrain tokens won't apply during season 9, then turn them off on the day of the patch!

No, taking them off now is a good thing. It's better to turn it off now, when players aren't mistakenly buying these items up until the patch drop than to let them do so and find out there's no way to get compensated.
Did the Devs say why the Shuttle Weekend was being removed? I was really looking forward to NWS in shuttles.
