If they even fail to acknowledge this soon, and give positive feed-back then they are damaging the game / playerbase even further.
Well its getting better after a repatch reason I logged off in the first place and 45m of can't connect was able to repatch and get to logging into characters. Unfortunately the server status is still red so back to login after that ......................................... That's not it!

Just a shame that it had to happen in my limited time window that I have to play between work and bed. Ho hum. Have to say that some of the requests I've seen for free stuff have been rather silly. I think the most that we could expect (and honestly, all that I would want) is a day or two's extension on the Mirror Universe event. That way those of us with limited play time get the chance to complete it, while those with an excess of play time get to reward themselves with more dilithium by completing the event and getting the extra rewards for turning in the multidimensional transporters on those days. Win/win for everyone IMO.
It is 1635 hours est & have been unable to validate login. I was previously in game but had to logout for a bit. When try to log back in, get "Attempting to update launcher - attempt 1, 2, 3 ,4" etc & then final message unable to update launcher message. I reckon STO will be down for a bit yet?
We were able to get the login servers up, however as the game is still not currently up, please do not try to login until I have information that the situation is more stabilized.
I assure you, Smirk and I will update you as soon as we hear that it is back up online.

Didn't start the mirror event until late, so will be annoyed if I can't finish it because of this...
if it takes days they have always comped us in the past if not for more time of in my exp i lost a ship that was fazed out was given dilth and box of goodys they want us to play and keep playing so they try to keep us happy give it some time

Arc works .. initial startup of STO works but then times out at "planet & music " ..aaarrhh now thats a GREAT WAY of stopping us doing the daily alternate universe mission and getting the bonus :mad:

They have made posts within this thread regarding the status of the login server. An update will be given as and when they can offer one.
As much as the information may be sparse, it is still an acknowledgement that they are aware of the issues and are looking to resolve it.
