Since this early morning GMT i cant login at all , the launcher loading sooo slow , and if load at all got an error that says there is a problem with the login server. So , can someone from the support teram give us some light about that, please. The problem is global , beacuse got lot of friends on the voice chat that have the same problem and havent been able to log the whole day.

We're currently working with engineering for our Boston servers. As I'm sure you'd understand, carrier pigeons do take a while. :P
But really, we're looking at the servers right now to see what went wrong. I will give you updates as soon as I can with substantial information.

We were able to get the login servers up, however as the game is still not currently up, please do not try to login until I have information that the situation is more stabilized.

I have no problems and if it was a widespread issue, there would be dozens of posts about it today. The only way anyone can help is if you follow the troubleshooting guide http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=919211
And give a traceroute so that everyone else can help you. Also you can try going into the options once the launcher loads and changing the proxy settings.

Thats the current tracert to the logging server.Tried everything else, since i'm a old mmorpg gamer and know almost every way to track down and test. But still right before the launcher show up the fields for user / password , got an error that says Failed to connect the login server.
Ahh cogent fun times! lol. Did you try changing the proxy as well?

Well , tryed everything, passing the router, reinstalled the game, etc. etc. Going to watch a movie , if the game wont start again in the morning, it will be an weekend w/o STO and thats the last drop to leave it again as the last time a 2 years ago i think. But the point is , there was no problem yeasterday , even after that maintenance i have played few hour without any problems. So , the problem is not on my pc or connection.
There was an error loading the login page. Please restart the launcher and try again.
Error -2 when loading url /launcher_login - thats the last error that the launcher showed up.
I reserve the right to have a completely different standpoint depending on my mood.

Yes, sir. I know that cause i am checking it constantly, but some of the support team want to asure me the problem is here , with my connection, and its been like that the whole day. There is a blackwhole somewhere in Cogentco and noone want to admit it , because blaming the end user in stupidity is the easiest way to avoid a problem
It is not a Cogent issue, and it is not an issue you can resolve with the proxy. One of the servers is simply down, and any time you roll that server, you will time out.
