Swimwear for away team

I was wondering and hoping if you are going to add swimwear for players away teams it would be also good if you let us take our away teams to risa as well

If they ever do let BOFFs go swimming with us and allowed to wear swimsuits, it's going to take synchronized swimming to a whole different level. :P

If at all. Rumors suggest that CBS didn't allow them to do it since swimwear can be worn anywhere and they didn't like bikini girls in Earth Spacedock.

Well, except Orion ladies, who have a bikini-esque option they can use. That's kinda racist AND sexist against Orions, but watcha gonna do.

Speaking of which, to the OP, your only recourse is to either grab an Orion Boff from the Diplomacy Tier 4 reward if you're Fed, or Reroll your KDF character as an Orion female and pack your bridge with slave girls.

Currently, boffs can't wear off-duty clothing, only uniform type clothing. When they add swimsuits, they're almost certainly going to be off-duty wear, like the beachcomber outfit.

I really think Swimwear should be added.
And I think Boffs should have access to off-duty outfits too.

I don't theres some Off duty stuff that would be silly, and probably shouldn't go onto BOFFs,

I would however vote for Sensible Items to be duplicated onto the uniform tab

Isn't Qo'nos bad enough with all the "Slave Girls" running around???

And not forgetting the, now ubiquitous, "Khan Jacket without the undershirt" ...

Seriously, do we really need swimsuits in Star Trek Online now???

I'm not sure I want to live on this planet any more ...

saw that coming a mile off.

as for the rest though, miniskirts and tank tops are okay so long as its not OTT which they are not atm.

as for swimwear though, even if i were considering (which im not anyways), i would like cryptic to get rid of that rib cage appearance between the midriff and chest. its looked hideous since day 1 and still looks hideous.

Yeah, because military women uses swimwear when on duty, in large hubs. It's a common sight.

If your issue is body sizes, there is a thread about how we would like to see the sliders go down further.
If you think seeing ESD in underdressed women is ridiculous you might also wonder why a uniformed organization has dozens of allowed uniforms (including the micro skirts and tank tops) allowed.
Sadly the argument is immersion or not. Well the standardization is already out the window, so just let people have fun with it.

With all the issues that this game have, the fact that some one complain about the breast size of women in the ESD is really funny.

The sol system is full of jemhadar or breen ships and is ok, but woman with big breast is the end of star trek.

I think the general issue is that the way the sliders work there are no 'big' TRIBBLE. They are all that size.

This is a straw man argument, and we both know that. Following this road, why don't ask for fully naked women ? Since the game is already ridiculous and all that.

As I said, if you want to have a fantasy of playing with half naked women, this is the internet, you have plenty of games allowing that. Hell, in age of conan you can even see your character TRIBBLE ! And if you really want to do that in STO, play an orion.

You know when I first started playing STO about 2 years ago I was not a big fan of the shows and didnt know a whole lot.

Since the game though and on an off playing it I have watched every movie and series at least once (well im still working on some on last season of TNG)

Like I was saying though the first time I played all my BOFFS were women of different races and all had micro skirts and what not just for kicks.

Now that I am indeed indoctrinated in the lore and the universe It really kinda bothers me that so many things are allowed to be used (insert argument about ships)

I think we can all agree that ships are fine and without them alot of fun is taken out of the game but, do we REALLY get FUN out of half naked vice admirals that make Uhura look tame?

I think the answer is really no anyone actually supporting the game with their wallet surely must be mature enough to find that mildly amusing at best and irritating the more its expanded on yes?

Maybe not just my thoughts

If they could code it like the floaters , in that they can only be used whilst on risa , I would see absolutely no issue with swimsuits whatsoever.
Pool party on ESD ? That's a different story . I'd rather see it restricted to a social zone like risa only ( hell , it's what the locals wear )

Only a few of my female boffs wear skirts, and those are the sierra ones, and I make them wear leggings to so they don't go cold.

I really wish my boffs could wear off-duty uniforms, then I could dress them in Romulan Senate Robes, Ambassador robes or even in the armor costumes without the heads.

They should just give us a toggle ability for all suits that allows us to remove the helmet. I mean, imagine your team sporting all the rep. sets. I'd favor that over bikinis any day.

Shut up.

That and they need to fix the armor bug for boffs. The entire upper body except for the helmet is missing on my female boff armor sets (MACO, OMEGA and Voth). It really is annoying.
